Summary: This is the first coffee machine i have ever bought and for me it is solely used for making espresso, which is fantastic. If you want to make a taller drink than an espresso then you have to start using several different cups as nothing bigger then an espresso cup will fit under it. The milk steamer is very effective but again is quite low down so it can be difficult steaming large amounts of milk at once, but there is plenty of room for milk for 1 person.
Summary: I was initially dubious about the quality of coffee this machine would produce - how pleasantly surprised I was. If you follow the instructions and follow them to the word you will not be dissapointed. I have read some negative reviews and can see that some folks are not correctly following the instructions. Others are complaining about the small area under the filter but this is easily solved by using an espresso cup and then decanting.
Summary: The big question for any espresso machine is will it let you recreate that coffee shop experience and let you enjoy a beautiful cup of coffee in your own home? The answer to this question with the Delonghi EC152 is yes, but it takes a little work and there are some things to be aware of. First impressions: The machine is small, and primarily plastic. The lid over the water tank does not fit snugly and I have seen this comment made before.
Great machine, but there are a couple of minor gripes.

Summary: I do love this coffee machine, it does make really really nice coffee, and you can get a really good coffee shop style drink in the comfort of your own home. It's easy to use, and heats up fast and the actual functionality of the machine I have no problem with at all, it's amazing. However, there are a couple of issues I've had with the machine.
Really good, cheap and therefore value for money machine

Summary: I previously owned a more expensive coffee machine that lasted for about 5 years. Having read a lot of reviews, I was torn between pushing the boat out and spending £300 on a machine or buying a pod coffee machine. Having been buying and grinding beans for years, I was sad to stop. I read the reviews for this one and am really glad I opted for it. It is small, fast to heat up, produces lovely coffee every time.
Summary: This machine is rated a best buy by Which. Given that it is a budget machine, it does make a good coffee. I would have two small critisisms: 1) The filter basket is "fiddely" to empty and clean. 2) The nozzle height does rather restrict the max cup size which can be used (max height about 6cms.
