Summary: Having done some research, decided this espresso machine seemed a good buy at the price. We have a DeLonghi filter machine which has given reasonably good service over almost 3 years of every day usage (although the first one did go back for replacement after only 3 weeks as it was leaking!). However, not to be deterred, this arrived pretty smartly and it's easy to use. Water tank is removable which makes for easy filling/emptying, and also drying.
Summary: The machine does what it says on the tin---pretty fair value although coffee amount made at each brew is small--ideal for one person or two at a stretch. The use of the milk steamer/frother takes a bit of working out and practice to get it right and the design of the nozzle means you have to unscrew it to wash the plastic head thoroughly. All in all a useful bit of kit if you want cappucino and espresso coffee options at home.
Summary: I preferably wanted one of the more expensive models but settled for this one. For the price, it does what it says. However, the instructions are poor and you have to stop the coffee pouring yourself or you get a lot of watery coffee instead of an espresso. I also found the milk steamer a little small and only have one cup that will fit under the coffee dispenser. However, my coffee turned out good once I'd figured out the technique.
Summary: This product is easy to use and makes a nice flavour coffee. The problem I have is in getting the milk to froth for a cappuchino. It doesn't come supplied with a milk container and it is difficult to find one that allows the milk to froth without it spilling over. The steam nozzle is short and doesn't manage to reach into deeper containers.
