Attractively designed coffee maker but below par performance.
5 April 2014
Summary: I am happy with the way it looks but not its performance. After the brew cycle runs coffee grounds get stuck on the top and its difficult to clean them off without them falling into the water storage department.
Summary: Had it 6 months, I would definitely buy this again. It does all the important stuff really well; temperature is very hot, water distribution is good, cone #2 filter type, pause-and-pour works ( see below), brews fast. I love the mug warmer, it really works (assuming you give it 10 minutes).
Summary: Small, efficient, nice aesthetic addition to the counter! As advertised, no auto shut-off, so I turn it off when I go to pour my coffee. Easy. The way the coffee pours out of the pot is neat, almost out instead of down and it has never dripped.
Summary: There's nothing like the first fresh cup of morning coffee. I'd rather get mine at home, then wait on line at a chain store. I've been brewing my own coffee for over a decade now. And, I don't take my first cup of coffee lightly.
Summary: I have been looking for a small countertop coffee maker to fit my limited available space, aesthetic eye and demand for a good cup of coffee. I'm a bit of a coffee geek and really enjoying craft coffee both at home and in my travels.
Summary: I AM A COFFEE SNOB, SO HAVING A GOOD MACHINE IS IMPORTANT TO ME. I HAVE BOUGHT SEVERAL IN THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS (I BROKE THE CARAFE ON THE OLD ONE AND IT WAS SO OLD THAT THEY DON'T MAKE THAT SIZE CARAFE ANYMORE). ANYWAY, I LOVE THIS MACHINE. EASY TO USE, OFF OR ON....
Summary: This coffee maker is great! I have had none of the problems mentioned. I have the 5 cup version. Coffee does not come out super hot, but why would you want it to? When I make coffee I want to drink it, not wait for it to cool down because it was too hot to begin with.
