Summary: I loved this coffeemaker, it has a sleek design, and works perfectly. Also my coffee tastes better, I think this is because of the metal filter included and the circular water pouring. It is also programmable, so you can set it a night before.
Summary: This coffee maker is so easy to use and clean up is a breeze! The Aroma feature is truly unique and adds to the flavor also. Honestly wish I would have found this model sooner as my others which were more expensive were not dependable. I would rate this as an Excellent coffee maker!!!!
Summary: Bought this model at Target a few years back and was VERY pleasantly surprised at how delicious the coffee was. I like that there is a clear window with measurements to show how much water is in the tank. Like the small basket, for better soaking of the coffee. I always use the slower, aroma setting. It does not take THAT much longer and is definitely worth the wait.
Summary: My wife and I did not want to invest heavily in our at-home coffee maker and chose to buy this one. It has been troublesome. Every pour is a potential disaster. I've been drinking (and pouring) coffee for about 10 years, so I thought I'd catch on to the trick of not dribbling coffee everywhere but I never have. The quantity of coffee toasted to oblivion on our unit's warming plate can be measured by the pot at this point.
Summary: Once upon a time I had a hand-me-down, ancient Mr. Coffee coffeemaker. It made the best coffee ever, and I thought it was because *I* made the best coffee ever. That coffeemaker died after a combined 20+ years of service in my mother's house, and my first few apartments. I went through a series of replacements, none of which survived more than a year and all of which made HORRID coffee. I got this one for Christmas two years ago.
Summary: The coffee that comes out of this maker is great. (Do not use the Aroma setting. It is not worth the extra time.) The coffee is hot, the keep-warm plate doesn't burn the coffee but does keep it nice and hot. And the darn thing looks good. Now the quirks: - If you don't get the basket in just right, the coffee will not drip into the carafe and will eventually overflow. (There is an alignment tab, but you can still close the holder if it is misaligned.
Summary: This has to have the worst decanters I've ever used. Pours coffee on the table (or your shoes) almost as fast as it does the coffee mug. After having such great luck with the Delonghi Caffe Elite this was a big disappointment. Luckily the Caffe Elite was again available on Amazon and I ordered one right away and returned the Delonghi 12 cup to Lowe's where it was purchased the next day.
