Summary: After much research about single cup brewing machines this was the one hands down. Its more expensive than the other brand name and was not available locally at my Costco stores at the time I purchased it. Nevertheless I took to the plunge to replace my old k-cup maker that finally died after about 3 -4 years use.
Pros: more extras included than competing brands excellent price on k-cups at costco k-cups are avialable everywhere much more convenient that other brewing methods includes water filters others are separate
Cons: expect these systems to only last 3-4 years can be costly in the long run must be kept clean per instructions more expensive than competition
Summary: This is my second machine, as the first one lasted 18 months. Followed all directions and then the end occurred . Contacted company to resolve the issue do to descale. Want almost the cost of a new machine to repair.
Pros: Easy to Use, Easy to Clean, Speed, Quiet, Design, Assembly
Summary: The old coffee maker went out so we decided to try this one. We've only had this for a few weeks now, but it works perfectly, and we like it a lot. We'll see if it holds up long term, but for now it is a great product. I would have rated it 5 stars if the price was lower. It takes it about 3 or 4 minutes to heat up from a cold start, but then less than 30 seconds to brew a cup of coffee.
Pros: makes good coffee works perfectly as expected
Pros: I have owned this machine for about 4 months now and I love it! No problems so far and with 3 adults who all wake up at different times, being able to make individual cups of coffee is great! The machine is very quiet and once turned on, it takes about 30 seconds to a minute for it to be ready for brew. The reservoir is huge and with normal use(2-3 cups a day), needs refill about every 5 days. This also comes with everything you need- coffee scoop, single-cup filter f...
Replacement Unit for the first unit that was shipped broken
Barry S., Newegg
23 June 2013
Pros: This unit was in much better condition that the first unit sent. (as stated in previous review the reservoir was cracked on the first unit and it had to be returned for replacement). Unpacked, went through the cleaning and setup and brewed my first cup with this unit with no problems. This unit replaces a Breville Keurig unit, (also a refurbished unit), which worked flawlessly for 3.5 years, If this unit does as well I will be very happy with it..
Cons: None, so far. But I've only been using it for an hour.
Summary: This is an easy-to-use and easy-to-setup product. Build quality seems good. We have owned the product for two weeks, and it has worked flawlessly for us. The coffee quality is very good. I recommend running the initial cleaning cycle twice to eliminate the rubbery taste on the first cup. I recommend this product.
Pros: Brews Quickly, Easy To Set-up, Easy To Use, Large water reservoir, Multiple Cup Sizes
Summary: Used many times a day. I love the multiple cup size settings and the programmable auto off. This is esp helpful if you have a user that consistently forgets to turn the machine off. The rinse feature is also nice if you are a tea drinker who doesn't enjoy the flavor of brewed coffee in your cup of tea. The power switch is a bit unusual as it doesn't stay in an "on" position, but flips back to its original position (the manual warns you about this).
Pros: Brews Quickly, Easy To Use, Large Pot, Multiple Settings, Stylish
Summary: I have owned a Keurig machine for about 2 Years, and have gotten to the point where I needed a replacement. As Keurig only warrantees their product line for 1 Year, they would no longer support my purchase (B70 Platinum). This machine is warranteed for 3 Years, and both Cuisinart and Costco offer full support and exchange priviledges on this machine. The design seems slightly better than the B70, and I hope to enjoy using this for years to come.
