  • Excerpt: This coffee maker worked well for a good two years, but then suddenly started brewing less than the selected amount. Now, it brews way less than the selected amount, and it sometimes does not brew at all.

J F., Newegg
15 January 2014
  • Summary: Its no french press but with the right kcups it'll make a decent cup of coffee
  • Pros: quick and convenient service size adjustability
  • Cons: Have had for almost exactly 2 years, pump is starting to get rather noisy and sometimes is an once or so short, guessing it will be failing sometime in the near future

Rick (Update from last post)

Richard L., Newegg
15 November 2013
  • Summary: Overall I like the unit but the 3 year warranty was a big draw for me when I got it. It appears talking to the support people are the only way to go. Knock on wood when I get the new unit (they said 7-10 days) we will hopefully be back up and running.
  • Pros: See review before about pump failing.
  • Cons: I first tried the online email help center. DO NOT USE THE ONLINE / EMAIL SUPPORT. When I called their help line the first time they were unable to help me but told me to do vinegar and water mixes to repair the pump. It's clear to me the pump is shot, there is a check valve in the line or the pu...

  • Excerpt: My dad and I used this a lot when we wanted instant coffee in the morning. I might add that the k cups are horribly wasteful and I no longer use them much and try to find ways to recycle them. This lets you change the amount of water you want in the cup from 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 ounces.

Doesn't work for the $$ it costs

  • Summary: Sometimes it doesn't make coffee at all. Other times it makes a 1/2 cup and sometimes we have to turn it off and keep turning off and on to get it to work at all. Tried to find place for troubleshooting and how to clean can't find one.
  • Pros: Multiple Settings
  • Cons: Temp Is Not Hot Enough

I am still a bit unsure...

  • Excerpt: I like coffee. Period. And being able to make one cup at a time is ideal for me, as I prefer to space my intake over the course of the morning, and a fresh cup each time is vastly superior to reheating an old pot.
