Summary: I purchased this item to replace an earlier Keurig because the Keurig would only heat water to 150 degrees.. Guess what, The Cuisinart only heats to 150 degrees ( it's set to 190 degrees- but I guess that's only for show ) !!
Summary: I love it but it only lasted 2 months before it said descale - and after buying vinegar and a pkg of new filters, I found that it doesnt work at all. Im combing the internet for a solution.....
Summary: We'll see what the warranty comes of it. Based on other reviews this pump issue is very common and for 200 dollars (which is what I paid even 18 months ago) it should be better manufactured.
Pros: One of the nicest models on the market. Appears to still be a model offered by Cuisinart which for 2 years you don't see typically the same model being available. 3 year warranty it appears is a big plus as these units are not capable of living that long
Cons: Pump wears out. Starts to only pump about 50% of what you ask for, it's clear the pump is failing, now trying to go through Cuisinart and get resolution. I like the unit, use it every day probably for 3-4 cups. I'm not sure what it's rated for but I would think this would be normal wear and tear ...
It's the best out there but that's not saying much

Summary: Paying $200 for a kitchen appliance that brews average-quality coffee is bad enough, but the fact that these machines are made with low-quality parts is just a slap to the face unfortunately.
Pros: Compared to other Keurig models on the market, this is the best. I've owned several different Keurig models and this one lasted the longest (and has the best feature-set). Very good warranty. And don't worry, you will use it, many many times.
Cons: These darn machines die way too quickly. I brew around 6 cups a day, and I have yet to own a machine that lasts a full year. Just one year! I do not want to have to run 60 oz. of vinegar (plus 60 more to rinse) through a kitchen appliance every month just to keep the pump from burning out.
Excerpt: I was not happy with this product. I did not like how strong the coffee was and it was a waste of coffee you could make a whole pot with one of their single servingBrew PerformanceIt brewed way to strongEase of CleaningCleaning wasn't a problemEase of UseIt is easy to use if you use the single...
Excerpt: When it works, it's great. Hubby and I used ours for 10 months before it failed. It's under warranty, but the company makes you pay for shipping, and makes you send them a $10 check with to pay for them to ship back to you!!!
Pros: When working is fast and easy to use.
Cons: Don't last very long for what you pay for it.
Summary: I bought the SS-700 with high hopes from Bed, Bath, & Beyond. It looks good and it worked great for 3 weeks, then it wouldn't brew, rinse, or anything. I only have 1 cup in the am, so I would consider it as having only light use.
