Summary: ... at least Costco will take it back - I'm really glad I didn't buy it elsewhere because when I tried to call Keurig for help with it I was put on an interminable hold. I want one that takes the compostable cups anyway, so I'm not horribly upset.
Pros: costco has a great return policy

Summary: Timer is off and coffee sometimes will make a cup or not....depends on ??? I have tried the various methods of unplugging the machine and waiting to replug, cleaning the little filter trap, whatever was suggested. Then, may make one cup before quiting again. The machine sounds like it is working, but no coffee is made when the "Ready" sign comes on again...with no coffee in the cup. If I stay at it long enough, I may get a cup of coffee to come out.
Excerpt: I got this machine as a gift and it worked great for a little bit. I have had it for over a year now and it doesn't work. No matter how much I clean the machine I'm constantly getting a film inside the water tank and the water that comes out (if it even comes out) is pink. Now I am getting puddles of rust color water out of the bottom of the machine. I've also read quite a few other reviews on other websites with the same issue.
Summary: After having two Keurig Platinum brewers go bad after about a year of use for each, I decided to purchase the Cuisinart Model SS-780PC from Costco because it has a 3-year warranty as opposed to the 1-year warranty for the Keurig. The brewer worked fine for about a month and then started to not heat the water for the first brew cycle. I returned it for replacement. The replacement did the same thing.
Summary: Coffee Macker worked right out of the box, But After A few uses it Started to make a grinding noise and the pump stop working and the back light went dim . I gave one of these as a gift. I hope it does not have the same problems will have to return it for replacement. I hope it will not be a cost for replacement. Otherwise I have had one for over a year and it has worked just fine.

Summary: Watch out, this item will not make hot water or hot coffee or hot tea, it produces only cold water. They didn't put that in manual and on the page, but yes, it's true - only cold water!!!!! After 3 replacement of this SS-700, I finally gave up. I have had Breville and Keurig which are still in working condition after two years, making coffees, but thins thing is good .... for nothing... Never worked, and I tried 3 different (same) models....
BAD Design, stay away - do your research on this coffee maker first

Summary: I had this coffee maker just over 3 months when it started giving us problems. Then I did some research, have you ever wondered why a company has so many returns it can "refurbish" them and get them out to so many stores, web sites etc. This is one of them. I finally went out and bought a brand name K-cup coffee maker and have NEVER had an issue with it.
