Summary: I've only had my machine for 6 days, but was not satisfied with the coffee that came with my unit. So, I went and bought my own coffee (organic, and organic decaf), and unfortunately, the coffee is still weak. I am used to my Senseo which delivers a frothy, hot, strong cup of Java, but unfortunately, the pods are getting harder to find in my local grocers, not to mention the fact, they do not offer organic coffee.
Pros: makes a hot cup of water for hot choc/tea. nice looking
Cons: makes a very weak cup of coffee unless it's a 4 oz kind of large compared to my senseo.
Summary: Our daughters gave this to their Dad for Father's Day. We spent hours trying to get it to just spit out some water. After calling Cuisinart directly, we returned it to WalMart because it did not work at all.
Summary: So far so good, we have had this machine at work for a year and I have wanted one so bad! I purchased this a month ago and no regrets! I love it!!!!!!!! The only downside? I drink way more coffee because it's easy to make, so yummy, and there is no cleaning the pot! The iced coffee setting is awesome!
Summary: I bought my Cuisinart Keurig style machine new in March 2011. The machine performed very well as myself & my wife are daily coffee drinkers. The convience of using the K Cups was great. However, after having the machine for 15 months, it started to act up. It started to give 1/2 cups of coffee. I've also every 3 months descalled the unit as recomended by Cuisnart. I went through the product manual to see what I could do to trouble shoot the problem.
Summary: It took about a week to get this machine to work properly. The only recommendation is to purchase the extra warranty. All you ever hear about any K-machine is that the pump fails eventually. When it works it is perfect.
