Summary: This machine that I paid nearly two hundred dollars for lasted two years and that is it. I won't buy another one because I feel at the price I should have gotten at least four years out of it.
Summary: I have had mine for 3 years and love it. You do need to take care of it regularly by de-scaling and changing the filter as per the instructions, especially with hard or high mineral water. I use filtered water which helps a lot. Once the water wouldn't pump no matter what I did and I was sure it was broken. It must have been an air lock because after I removed the water reservoir and turn the unit upside down and tried again, the water flowed just fine.
Summary: Bought it in December 2010 and it's still serving us our morning coffee, and more. Needs regular descaling and filter changes. If we don't used it for a few days, forget to descale or change the filter, the motor jams up and it doesn't pump up the water. When this happens, a few slaps to the side and there's my coffee!
Summary: I bought this product on December 14, 2013. After approximately a half a dozen 12oz cups of great tasting coffee and in a total of 6 days, it stopped working. YES, you read that right! It stopped working in 6 DAYS! I spent hours trouble shooting it with them at Cuisinart and even tried to figure it out myself. All I could hear was the water pump humming while nothing would happen. I do Love Cuisinart products, but for some reason this one was a dud.
Summary: Not only an amazing machine (have had other brands and they just don't compare), but customer service is increcible! my unit died just as the 3 year warranty was ending (shipped it with only 2 days left of warranty, they actually received the unit after warranty period). Not only did they honor the warranty, but instead of repairing my unit they shipped me an entirely brand new unit! Top Notch service.
