I purchased this product approximately three months ago to be used by three or four people in our office. It worked okay, but we've had problems from the beginning. Well. today it completely stopped working, there is no power whatsoever. When I called Cuisinart, they told me the warranty was voided because it was being used in an office! Nowhere does it say this anywhere, even in their user manual. They have very ambiguous wording that let's them interperet the warranty anyway they want. I would not recommend this product to anyone! I am thoroughly disappointed in Cuisinart's customer service.
Have had the unit for a year when it stopped producing a full cup of coffee. Now it drips out a few drops and quits. I cleaned the unit, de-scale it, and followed all the directions to fix withou result. Sadly my last Cuisinart coffe machine lasted a year, then quit as well.

Does anyone know what the heating element in the Cuisinart SS-700 single cup brewing system is made of? I'm hoping it is stainless steel and not aluminum.

You can brew a new cup just as fast as you can open the head, remove the "just brewed" K-cup, replace the new K-cup, close the head and hit the "brew" button. For most people, I would guess that would take about 30-60 seconds. You can do that as many times as you want until your water reservoir gets low, then you'll have to fill with more water, and resume making cups of coffee, or tea, or
