you alwaqys take a chance with a refurbished product

Timothy M., Newegg
4 April 2014
  • Summary: I suppose they did their best and I was just expecting to much the whole time.
  • Pros: it was cheap, that's about it.
  • Cons: I wouldn't be suprised if ths never get's published but I need to let off some steam so I'll be happy. Sure, you always take a chance buying refurbished but mine arrived with a big crack on the water lid and it leaks on the floor more than what makes in the cup. they did though offer me a 10$ credit so they did try. when I bought it it was 35 but now its 60 or I'd buy it again. I guess on a positive note if I stand there and run it through the cycle the cup gets fille...

Does what it says it does

Karl R., Newegg
18 January 2014
  • Summary: Very quick. Under 2 minutes.
  • Pros: K-cups in general are overpriced, but if you plug them into this machine, dang if they don't deliver. Everything I've tried has been delicious. I tried to use the My K-Cup to make some Gunpowder Green tea, and that was an abject failure, but if I use the machine to make the hot water and steep things properly, everything tastes great.
  • Cons: I tried to use the My K-Cup to make some Gunpowder Green tea, and that was an abject failure, but if I use the machine to make the hot water and steep things properly, everything tastes great. To balance that: my proper K-cups from Lipton make a nice cup of tea. If got some Twinings tea K-Cups coming in the mail, but I expect it will be good as well.

Awesome

Angela H., Newegg
15 December 2013
  • Summary: I purchased two of these for us so we each could have one at work. We have the ss-7700 st home, these are compact enough and brew reasonably fast. Great purchase and I would recommend these for work. The larger unit is best for home.
  • Pros: Great price, compact
  • Cons: Sometimes have to turn it off and back on if glitches

OK coffee maker

Bob, buydig.com
15 November 2013
  • Summary: Easy to use. Seems to work as advertised. Just surprised it is all plastic trying hard to look like metal. No classy look at all, unless you are really in to plastic. Not sure I can say it was worth the refurb price.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Fast
  • Cons: Fragile

This is junk, don't buy it

trailmix, buydig.com
6 July 2013
  • Summary: Used the product 4 times and water stopped coming out. The buttons just flash. I was shocked at how cheap looking the thing is when I took it out of the box, (it was a gift). Even the bottom thing you place your cup on is lightweight plastic, seems like it would melt easily. Not worthy of the Cuisinart name and definitely not worth the over $100 price tag. I have a $20 Black and Decker toaster oven that is 10 times the quality design and actually made of metal.
  • Pros: Nice Grey Color
  • Cons: Broke After 4 Uses, Cheap Plastic Design, Filter Cover Too Tight, Loose Plastic Buttons, Must Pay Return Shipping, Not Durable, Super Cheap Looking
