Summary: I have found my coffee maker to be quite good at making a good cup of coffee. Some people complain about the noise but I find it to be no more noisy than the Senseo maker this one replaced.... In fact, it isn't as loud as the Senseo. There are 3 things I don't care for with this unit: 1.
Summary: Once again, the adage "Buyer beware" proves itself timelessly accurate. This product was purchased based on the well established conception that Cuisinart offers an excellent product with outstanding customer service. This conception has been challenged on both accounts.
Summary: I own 3 of these Coffeemakers. I don't actually use the pods, but rather, I use straight coffee and the coffee comes out great and fast. Clean up is even faster! The warm up time is very fast and the termperature is perfect.
Summary: Bought this because of a great review that I read in Consumers Report.... It has lived up to everything that CR said. Makes a great cup of coffee... can use either a pod or regular coffee... The strength and volume can be controlled. Wasy to fill and clean.
Summary: I have been through four Bunn MyCafe's in as many years. They leak horribly and you always have to keep a cup under the spout or you end up with a countertop full of water. I decided to give this one a try and bought it for my office.
Summary: This is our third or fourth single cup coffee maker. This one is boxy and makes chugging noises as it "brews." Other than the different appearance and sound-- they all make some noise-- it seems well built, allows for brewing a stronger cup of coffee, and produces up to 12 ounces of hot coffee at a...
Summary: I loved my Cup O Matic - Made hundreds of fantastic cups of coffee over the past 18 months, when it suddenly stopped working. I have been looking for a new unit; however, the SS-1 has been discontinued by Cuisinart. All of the units you'll find online (ranging from $79.99 - $199.99) are refurbished.
Summary: I am not sure I would want to have paid $199 for this item (it's original cost from Macy's), but I got it for $79 a couple of weeks ago from Macy's through Amazon. Boy, is it worth it! The noise is not as bad as people say.
Summary: Owned this product nine months. We like the coffee, BUT it is very noisy and has enough vibration to shake mug off stand. WORSE: it broke within a few weeks, and the service was unpleasant. The plunger stayed down, making it inoperable.
Summary: I read all of the reviews and ordered it anyway. What a waste of postage! This thing's going back. Looks great, has a great set of features, and I thought it would be the perfect size for our boat. I had no concept of how loud a coffee machine could be!
