Summary: I like the water reservoir and not having to fill it every day. I also like not having to put in a coffee filter. It does make a lot of noise and vibrates but I can overlook that because it makes a great cup of coffee. I've also used it to make hot chocolate. It is easy to clean, as well. I got this coffee maker as a reconditioned unit therefore it wasn't as expensive as a new one. Although I really enjoy it I doubt I'd pay full price. Not sure why they are so expensive.
Summary: Nice machine, especially for the price. My husband and I love our coffee but sometimes work different schedules. The Cuisinart allows us each to have a fresh cup in minutes. More economical than half drunk pots or the K cups.
Summary: Unfortunately, the Cuisinart Cup-O-Matic that I purchased has become a poor purchase. I don't doubt the validity of Cuisinart, I think the product I purchased was obviously defective. It produces warm coffee that becomes cold with cream, it does not brew tea (I have tried every permutation of tea brewing to no avail). On 12 ounces, it produces about 10 ounces of coffee. I think I could have learned to live with everything except the warm/cold coffee.
Summary: We decide to purchase the Cuisinart Cup-o-matic after going through 2 Cafe Invento Pod Coffee makers. We checked online reviews and liked that you can brew either coffee pods or ground coffee, can select sizes and strength, and it has a large water reservoir. The only thing we dislike about our the Cuisinart is that it is quite noisy. It makes an excellant cup of coffee, just like you would get in a bistro.
Summary: Mothballed the Keurig, ( and the 165$ per lb coffee) yup, those k-cups are expensive , not to mention bad for the earth. This thing will make a great cup every time with my own coffee. Love it.... The only down side is the noise level when pumping, otherwise great.
Summary: The Cup-O-Matic does exactly what I expected - makes a great cup of coffee using whatever kind of coffee I want. I use it with both "loose" coffee and with pods (some purchased and some made with the Perfect Pod maker, which was also a great purchase). It does make a fair amount of noise, but doesn't seem to be any louder/worse that most other single serve coffeemakers that I've used. Would (and have) definably recommend to friends.
