Nice unit!

robth01, Ebay
8 November 2014
  • Summary: Shopped a while to replace my old espresso machine that sprung a leak. The EM-100 seemed to fit the bill and what I was willing to pay. Worked great right out of the box. Heats up fast. Use it every day with no problems. Great job with espresso and making hot water for tea.

Dont let the looks fool you...

DynamiteD, Amazon

  • Summary: Ok so heres the deal folks, this COULD be an awesome little espresso machine but its NOT! I am a seasoned barista at heart (lol) and enjoy making my girlfriend, friends, and family members a nice latte, cap, or anything espresso related! I've used many other espresso machines over the years, grind my own beans, and have NEVER experienced any of the issues I have experienced with this lil thing! First off don't let the looks fool you!

Minimal quirks & maximum quality<) 3 year warranty!!

Amazon Customer, Amazon
17 February 2014
  • Summary: This machine solved the issues I have with most semi-auto espresso makers in the price range (100-200$). What I love: Quality solid materials and construction with design elements which drastically reduce messiness factor, ie. non-stick steam wand, seamless back wall (behind where cup sits and coffee or milk may splash); plenty of clearance for several cup heights; no "priming" required; warming tray is actually quite warm; milk and coffee both come out reasonably hot;...

Works well but is VERY loud!

S. Zanatta, Amazon
15 October 2013
  • Summary: I got a factory reconditioned model. The shipping was prompt and the packaging looked new. As recommended, I ran a whole tank of plain water through it before brewing espresso for the first time. The steam wand seems to work fine, but I still need some practice using it. What surprised me the most is how LOUD this machine is when either brewing espresso or using the wand. And I now know the reason for the guards around the cup warmer..

Last Quisinart Product I will buy

OHMatt, buydig.com
30 September 2013
  • Excerpt: I want to stress that the transaction with BuyDig went perfectly. Cuisinart did not properly refurbish this item. It appeared cosmetically perfect, however as soon as the machine was powered up, the pump ran (with the control dial set to off). Water flowed out the tray in the bottom of the machine and filled up the drip tray. There is no way this item received any testing with such a blaring malfunction.
  • Pros: Pretty
  • Cons: Poor quality control, DOA, Poor Mfr Support, Unacceptable Warranty

Works Amazingly

Caroline Fisher, Amazon
11 July 2013
  • Summary: I love this espresso maker! It makes delicious coffee and it works very fast. The only negative is that the milk steamer takes a minute to turn on but it makes a clicking sound a couple seconds before so you know. The first time you turn it on it takes a few minutes to heat up but after you use it a couple of times it heats up in 30 seconds or less. Before you order this go to you-tube and watch the how to video for this product it is very helpful.

Reaping the Benefits...

Sam, Amazon
30 March 2013
  • Summary: Of saving loads of money. No more paying for Starbucks iced white mochas- now I can make 'em myself. (You can even order the white mocha syrup on starbucks.com, which I did). If you're new to the espresso machine like I was- at first it seems like it's a lot of work, but it gets easier to use over time. A basic tip that is NOT in the instructions or ANY of the reviews I scoured through is...

Perfect entry level espresso maker

pjorge1036-407, Ebay
16 March 2013
  • Summary: If you enjoy delicious creamy espresso, this little machine will give you the best bang for your money. The only improvement I can think of would be fully automatic settings for one or two cups.
