Great & Reliable Coffeemaker

C. Kolenko "Buffalo Gal", Amazon
10 March 2014
  • Summary: I have had this coffeemaker for 4 years & it is used mostly everyday we are home. Was just checking out if still offered & was surprised to find complaints. Have never had a problem & if needed would like to replace with similar product. Hope if there is a flaw it is corrected before I need to replace. Makes a good cup of coffee.

Thrilled to have the grind and brew in a thermal caraffe

mommybones, Ebay
11 February 2014
  • Summary: I have purchased Cuisinart Grind and Brew coffee makers for the past 16 years. They are good and reasonbly priced. This model so far I am enjoying! The thermal pot keeps the coffee hot and the other functions are typical Cuisinart perfection!!

Great unit

Lydia L, Amazon

  • Summary: I got mine over a year ago and it still works like new. It grinds the coffee very well and doesn't make a mess like previous models. The only draw back is that it doesn't keep the coffee hot enough very long.i have to heat up the milk before I poor my coffee after an hour or so to warm the whole cup. My boyfriend has the glass carafe model and it seems to stay warm longer.over all a great product.

I hate this coffee maker!

Deb, Amazon
30 January 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this one in March 2013. It's now January 2014 and I am buying another coffee maker. Pros: I love the thermal carafe and it makes a good pot of coffee. I do not have any problems with the noise as I use it for my alarm. I don't have any issues with the temperature of the coffee. I have never tried to do the 1-4 cup setting and the amount of beans the grinder holds makes the right strength of coffee for me.

  • Summary: We've had a coffee maker like this for quite a few years and all of a sudden for some reason it started leaking, so I ordered this Cuisinart and we love it. It is just as exactly as described when we bought it. It is great and we love it.

Good tasting Coffee

jack450_1, Ebay
9 January 2014
  • Summary: This is a great idea from a great name brand. We love it, but had to figure our own preferances. The programming feature works good, but found out that it works better fixing the night before using already ground coffee. My reason is the machine turns off completely ( including warmer when cycle is finished) so if you want hot coffee, not warm, you need to fix it in the morning. Cuisanart needs to address this with an optional warmer switch.

It makes coffee

Riley L., Newegg
4 January 2014
  • Pros: This coffee maker will, when properly setup, turn coffee beans into fresh coffee while I'm still playing with the snooze button.
  • Cons: The external seal on the thermos pot leaks so water from the dishwasher gets into the lining and then pours out on the counter during use. If you accidentally push the program or on buttons while the machine is disassembled, as in cleaning, it will beep until you either assemble it or unplug it. If you unplug it you have to reset the time and program the clock. It has a lot of parts, all of which need to be cleaned between uses. From 2- 5% of the coffee never gets fro...

Coffee Pot does not make 10 cups as advertised!

Mary Halasz, Amazon
5 December 2013
  • Summary: This coffee pot does not make 10 cups, the pot and water tank hold 7 cups of water, which I measured with a standard measuring cup. Although the gauge on the tank reads 10 cups it is 3 cups short of what is advertised. Once your coffee is made you never know how much is left in the pot, although what is in the pot stays hot for several hours. The bean grinder barely holds enough beans to make the promised 10 cups of coffee.
