Excerpt: Recently received this coffee maker as a gift and I couldn't be more pleased. It's very easy to use and has a lot of great features, I especially like the flavor infuser. Would absolutely recommend this coffee maker to anyone. Especially if you enjoy freshly ground coffee!Brew PerformanceFast brewing with a great flavor.Ease of CleaningA light will come on and tell you when it needs to be cleaned and the manual has exact instructions on how to do so.
Summary: This is a fantastic coffee maker and it is too bad that Cuisinart has discontinued it. Have been using this model for over 12 years and it makes a perfect cup of coffee. Cuisinart no long provides spare parts which is why I purchased this unit, as backup to the one I currently have in service.
Excerpt: If you absolutely have to taste freshly ground and brewed coffee and the work involved doesn't matter then this is a great coffeemaker.Brew PerformanceI like my coffee really strong and I couldn't put enough fresh beans in it to make a full pot that tasted right to me. But if you used the regular coffeemaker part with ground coffee it was perfect.Ease of CleaningSo many parts to take out and clean, I got to the point that I wouldn't use the grinding function.
Excerpt: This is a great coffee maker if you prefer really fresh coffee. However if you like your coffee exceptionally strong the grinder might be a little small in volume. I definitely like the adjustable temperature settings this coffee maker provides as most coffee makers tend to be a little on the too hot side for immediate drinking. Cleaning is a little more work as you need to clean the grinder/basket assembly, grinder cover and basket cover each time you grind beans.
The Cuisanart Grind and Brew is an item to consider
9 August 2011
Excerpt: I purchased my Cuisanart Grind and Brew because my sister had one and honestly I was jealous. Well, it is the best cffee pot I have ever owned. Not only can you use coffee that is already ground but you can use whole coffee beans(which I prefer). The aroma of the grinding process fills the whole house with the type of scent that will remind you of the smell in a coffee shop.I add cinnamon to the basket before grinding and end up with a very good cup of coffee that has...
Summary: This Coffee maker is no longer manufactured, so it took some time before I found a listing for a new one, it replaces my previous DGB-300, which I used every day for about 15 years before the blades in the grinder wore to the point where it didn't grind very well, was so happy to get this as I am not to happy with the coffee makers being manufactured today, sorry if you can't find one, as it's an excellent product

Summary: We purchased this because we currently own a Mr. Coffee Grind and Brew...which is discontinued. I don't think they sell these anymore, either...so we bought this in case ours quits working one day. We are very happy w/this and it has extra features that are nice. It was much less expensive than the newer Cuisinart models. We're fine w/the jet takeoff sound and we don't really mind the cleaning process. But there are a lot more parts than there were in the Mr. Coffee.
Excerpt: I bought this coffee maker "for my husband" for Christmas last year. We already had a coffee maker, but it was an old, ugly hand-me down and I, I mean he, really wanted to be able to grind our own beans. I am a new found coffee fan and was always intrigued by the whole bean grinding thing, Well we cleaned it up and got it all ready. I ground up the beans and added all my cream and sugar (so that it barely looks like coffee) and was impressed with quality of the cup!
This Cuisinart Grind and Brew coffee pot leaks water
21 January 2011
Excerpt: I was so excited when I inherited my Cuisinart Grind and Brew 10 cup coffee maker from my dad, but ended up disappointed. First my pros: love how there is a replaceable charcoal filter for the water intake, love how easy it is to clean the coffee grinds mess, love how the coffee pot is not hot to the touch, love the programmable start, and the auto shut off. My cons: sometimes after a pot of coffee brews there is water underneath the machine (a leak of some sort?
