Summary: Bought this to replace working model that had a glass tube to show water level. The tube got air bubbles and, when looked like residue, could never be cleaned. Liked the water level solution. the caraffe bottom split but no leaks. contacted them and immediately got new one.
Summary: It's a nice machine, and makes excellent coffee. However, the product engineering is a little weak. I bought one in January and, within a month of purchase, the top would no longer latch. I contacted the seller for warranty, and I got a new machine.
Summary: This coffee pot has been a disaster. The lid has completely broken and the coffee pot will have to be replaced. There are only two adults in the house, so not abused. Very disappointed in the quality. It is also difficult to pour coffee from the pot because the lip is very wide.
Summary: As previous reviewers mentioned, the water reservoir is in a extremely awkward place. Water all over the place! Since this was my second cuisinart, I knew that and wasn't really bothered by it.
Summary: This coffee maker is like a spouse you wouldn't trade for the world, but they do have their flaws. On the plus side, the carafe holds the heat of the coffee for hours. The two main flaws with this coffee maker has to do with it's design.
Summary: I would not recommend buying this unit. We've used it less than 20 times and the water reservoir hinge has already broken. Okay I understand, there's always bound to be some defective products.
Great coffee but could use some design and construction improvements

Summary: The thermal carafe means when brewing is done, the heater shuts off instead of continuously heating the pot. I like the energy savings. The brew temperature seems to be right on the money, because the coffee tastes great. Timer and brewing features are very convenient.
Summary: Waste of money! Lasted 216 months. Within the first year, the carafe had to be replaced due to leaking at the plastic neck and stainless body. And now, it just died. Prior to this product, I had the Starbuck's Barista Aroma which has lasted 12 years and still use in our motor home, now back to the...
Summary: Makes great hot coffee, but the carafe dribbles if you don't pour slowly (really slowly), and it doesn't empty easily. Pouring the water into the maker is difficult without spilling, because you have about 2 square inches to pour into. Stupid carafe design that should not have reached production.
Great Coffee Maker, Poorly Designed Thermal Carafe

Summary: Consumer Reports rated this model with a glass coffee pot as a Top Recommendation. I will say that this is a great coffee maker, but it is hard to fill the water reservoir without spilling water into the coffee basket (so, put the coffee in AFTER you put the water in the reservoir) and the thermal...
