Summary: This was a true lemon purchase for us. Coffee does not stay hot. Why even have a thermal pot if the coffee lukewarm? Would not recommend this to anyone and really question Cuisinart quality in products. Thought they were reliable. Do not waste your money.
Summary: This Cusinart DCC-755 makes excellent coffee if you care enough to do it properly. I own several high-end coffee makers receiving good reviews from the experts because they heat water to the requisite 190-200 degrees and disburse it evenly over the grind for complete flavor extraction: Capresso,...
Summary: I have used this every day for 8 months. If I could, I would return it. My main problem is that the coffee is never hot, even when it is just brewed. Also, the carafe does not retain heat very well.
Summary: The good about this coffeemaker is it makes good tasting coffee and the thermal carafe works well to keep the coffee hot. The bad - The directions say do not use too finely ground coffee as the water/coffee may back up in the filter basket. So, I have been using a regular grind.
Summary: About once a week something happens where the coffee stays in the filter area and does not go into the carafe. I think this must happen when the carafe is not seated in the maker properly. We are extra careful about trying to get it right -and it still happens.
Summary: I received this coffee maker VERY fast! I had broken my old glass Mr. Coffee and wanted to replace it with a thermal-carafe unit. It arrived in great condition and the set-up was very easy. I didn't realize that it came with a charcoal water filter that is so convenient to use and change.
Summary: Once in awhile it overflows and I cannot figure out what triggers it as I clean the filter the same way each time I use it. The coffee grind is the always the same. It pours very slowly which I suppose is the trade off for keeping the coffee hot as the lid stays in one position all the time instead...
Summary: This product is so good it makes me want to yodel! I've had a lot of coffeemakers in my coffee-drinking life, several of them Cuisnarts, and this one is, without a doubt, the best coffeemaker I've ever had, period.
