Summary: I absolutely love the coffeemaker. filling water as easy as a teapot. No more carafe's to deal with. It works perfectly. I am extremely happy with how easy the process of coffee making done by this machine. Highly recommend. I will probably get one for my friend who has an older model.
Summary: I like that this coffee maker does away with the carafe. It has a gauge like a gas tank so you know how much is in it. I use a stainless pitcher to fill but you can take the tank off to fill. The beeper is very quiet. A tip if you want to fill a tall travel mug, I use a cream pitcher with a spout. Again my husband & I both love this coffee maker & I have had several brands over the years high end & cheap this one is our favorite. Oh the cord is plenty long.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quality, Easy to Clean, Quiet, no carafe
Cuisinart DCC-3000 for the Techno Saavy World of Coffee Drinkers
11 January 2014
Summary: Definitely love the Cuisinart DCC-3000. Being an avid coffee person, it has been challenging to discover a manufacturer that likes coffee the way I enjoy drinking mine, fresh and hot. Cuisinart does the job smartly, whether its that morning cup of joe or the cup "on the go", size is not an issue. Recently purchased second generation Cuisinart DCC 3000, a more stylish and refined version to the original unique design.
Summary: Love this coffee maker! Makes great coffee, fresh every time. Saw a few negative comments on the cord, but people really need to look before they comment, the cord is at least 1 foot long. You need to tug on it and it unravels from back compartment.
Summary: Unfortunately I did not do my homework before making this purchase. I have several issues with this coffeemaker, the first being that is does not hold the coffee in a thermal space, but holds the coffee in a resevoir that has a heating element directly on the bottom. Therefore the coffee sits there to be cooked, maybe worse than with a carafe on a burner.
Summary: This is actually a replacement coffee maker for an old one which still works, but is showing signs of age and corrosion due to the poor water quality in my area. A little on the pricey side, but very well worth it.
