Excerpt: Love it, buying another to keep in storage when this one wears out. Was this review helpful? |
Pros: This is our 4th Cuisenart coffee maker. Have used the 12 cup version for yrs until I couldn't find it any longer. Love the design of this new pot, don't have to open top to pour. Love how they moved the controls to the top of the machine where they are easier to see. Using the programming feature...
Cons: The water resevoir takes some accuracy to pour into but definitely not a deal breaker.
Summary: Spent hours researching this purchase and couldn't be happier. Two years later the machine is still working and has never once exploded coffee all over the counter, unlike the machine it replaced.
Summary: I have owned a lot of coffee makers. Krups, Mr. Coffee, Hamilton Beach among others. I have spent over a year with a Krups unprogrammable glass carafe coffee maker. So my goal was to find a thermal and programmable maker. And small. The footprint on this coffee maker is small.
Metal carafes rule. no more scorched coffee, nor burnt hot-plate.

Summary: All-day warm coffee because of the metal carafe. not scorched by the heat-plate, like cheap glass-pot coffee-makers. That's why we bought this Cuisinart. The critiques of the difficult pouring are valid, but the metal carafe works as intended for insulation.
Summary: Coffee pot is very nice. The only draw back is we previously had a Barista coffee maker and it was very substantial. This unit is higher quality than most coffee makers, it is just that the handle is lightweight plastic and it is hard to empty the carafe and clean the pot because the opening is very...
Excerpt: We make coffee in this pot every morning. It makes good coffee fairly quickly and let's you know when it is done. It has all of the features that I was looking for. The only small problem I have with it is that when I pour the water in to make the coffee, the window to show you how much water you...
Pros: Stylish, Brews Quickly, Durable, Easy To Clean, Easy To Use
