Summary: This my second Capresso Team GS 464.05 Coffee maker-we bought one for our primary home-we love fresh ground and the other grind and brews we tried had problems. we love this coffee maker-easy to use and clean and perfect coffee Only one minor problem-the ground coffee goes into the filter unevenly-sort of off to one side so if you do not open it and give it a little shake before the water passes thorugh to make it flat and even you get some coffee that no water goes...
Summary: the coffee maker looks good on the counter as well as makes fine coffee. Grinding your own beans and then having the coffee maker automatically brew is great. It can't get much fresher than that!
Generally OK but not for French/Italian Roasts-recommend w/certain criteria

Summary: This is a beautiful machine and the overall quality is good. The burr grinder and automatic grind/brew feature is why I bought it. However, it is not a good fit if you like strong coffee and use very oily beans as the grinder does not do well with these. If you use medium or light and more dry beans, this is a great coffeemaker. The best one I have every used is the Melitta Mill and Brew that is, sadly, no longer made.
Summary: I chose this over the Cuisinart comparable model because it is so much easier to maintain. The burr grinder is the preferred manner of grinding and the strength of the brew. It does not come with paper filters and the manual does not even mention them. As well as the goldtone permanent filter works, I don't like the mess. I recommend using #4 filters (non-cone), although it's good to know that I don't have to panic if I run out of them.
