Summary: Mines been used every day for almost two years and it works great. With some practice and the right materials, you can make beverages that are of the same quality of Starbucks or Caribou, any professional store. It isn't luxurious however. Often, there is a mess I have to clean up when I use it and the milk steamer takes a while to heat up the milk.
Summary: For all the nan sayer this is a good little entry level espresso machine its NOT an $600 or $1500 espresso machine so don't compare it to that kind of performance you get what you pay for. It warms up quickly in the morning with the correct grind and tamp it pulls a nice 25 sec shot what more could one ask for. The steam wand works very well love the fact that you can pull the foam wand off its a nice feature, over all very happy with the purchase I would recommend it.
Summary: The handle broke off the porta filter after 5 uses. It does not release easily. Now I just use it without a handle which is not too convenient. Other than that, it works fine. This is a replacement. The other one lasted 3 years. I use it about 12 times a day.
Summary: This machine has worked reliably for us for about a year, and is a huge improvement over the less-expensive machines that we've tried and had to discard after only a few weeks of use. It's used for cappuccino, about five times per week, and the frother has continued to work satisfactorily, although attention does have to be paid to cleaning the steam tube and nozzle. There is nothing better in the market at less than three times the cost of this machine. Recommended.
Summary: At first it worked nicely, even produced espresso with crema, but over time the espresso became watery and weak. Today I just discovered the frother is broken, no steam coming through. This is after three years of light use.
Summary: This product no longer works. Doesn't steam or froth milk. Also does not make espresso! The machine worked alright the first week and then slowly deteriorated to not working at all. Worst of all I cannot return the item. So I would be careful and really research before buying this product.
Summary: I have had a Capresso 304 Espresso (steam pressure) Machine since January, 2007 making 2-3 cups each day, every day, without a flaw so I was confident in Capresso's ability to produce a good product. I had read that the "pump" espresso machines make a finer cup of espresso and this proved to be true with this Capresso Pump Machine.
Summary: Simple to use and makes for a great beginner espresso machine. The key is using a fine enough grind to get good crema. I buy Starbucks espresso and they'll grind it there for free. Most cheaper grinders don't get it fine enough. Also the frother is super easy to use. I've had it for a few months now and so far so good.
