Summary: This is not our first Bunn coffee maker. We really like the Bunn coffee makers. They are dependable, always get a good cup of coffee, and they are quick. I also use ours to make iced tea. I place the tea bags into the carafe and pour the cold water into the top of the coffee maker. The hot water goes into the carafe and steeps over the tea bags.
Summary: I bought this coffee maker to replace my old one which was the same model that I'd had for many years. I don't know what the mfg. has done but there's no way you can brew a whole pot without adding extra water every time. when the water reheats after making coffee you can be in another part of the house and you can hear it. Very loud and very annoying.
Excerpt: Few weeks ago I decided to shop for above average coffee maker . The last one I had, labeled as a GE model and purchased from a discount store for under $30, worked well for only a few months until one early morning it just died on me and left me shaking and trembling for my morning caffeine dosage. Never wanting to experience those feelings again, I swore never to go that cheap. So after I checked some products on the web, I found a nice one design by Bunn.
Summary: I purchased this product because of its compact size. I like the fact that coffee is ready in three minutes, however, I am unsure of the qualtiy of the end product. Still experimenting and hopeful that the cup of coffee that I am looking for will be produced.
Pros: Brews Quickly
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Limited Features, Small Pot
Summary: I'm on my 3rd Bunn in 20 years. I wouldn't have any other brand of coffee maker. The coffee is great & you have a full pot in 3 minutes. My last Bunn that I just replaced was over 10 years old. The first one I had lasted 10 years as well. For a small appliance that is used at minimum daily, you cannot beat the price or durability. The most recent Bunn though seems to be louder when the water is heating.
