Summary: I purchased this coffee maker in May 2011 after my 4th Keurig brewer in 3 years bit the dust. So far, it's been a wonderful and very reliable coffee pod brewer. Compared to the Keurig, it's water reservoir is a bit smaller, it's not as sexy looking, and the brew cycle is noisier, but on the other hand, it has worked reliably from Day 1. It uses the flat coffee pods instead of K-cups; I purchase empty pods and make my own using my preferred brand of coffee (Thanksgiving).
Summary: This single cup coffee maker works beautifully! I use it in my home office so clients can choose what strength or flavor of coffee they would like. It uses all different kinds of pods unlike some of the single brewers that only use their own brand of pods. Pods are also much less expensive and far more biodegradable than plastic K-cups. I, too, have had some issues with the coffee maker but still give it 5 stars.

Summary: I have a Bunn My Cafe MCU at home (bought at Lowes) next to my sink but decided the My Cafe Pourover Commercial Pod brewer would be better for work since it has a reservoir and is in my office and not the breakroom. It is easy to use, fill, place the pods, select the amount of fluid you want to brew and select coffee or the longer pulsing brewed tea. The main difference between the two My Cafe's is as follows.
Summary: I was looking on the reviews recently because I was pricing a new pod brewer as I think my Bunn may be nearing it's useful life...and I was very surprised by the negative reviews. Of course, everyone may have problems, but I want you to know that I've owned this for 7 years now, and the only problem I have had is that the water holder had a crack in it, which Bunn promptly replaced about 4 years ago.
Summary: My third Bunn MCP has just started leaking out the bottom of the unit when I push the brew button. The first two both had the pump fail at about the 2 year point (both out of warantee, but the second was a refurb I got from Bunn in exchange for the original unit and $99). I (obviously) love the way it makes coffee but to go through 3 expensive coffee makers in 6 years when I am the only one in the house who drinks coffee is not ok.
Summary: This has been perfect for us and has performed flawlessly. It makes a great cup of coffee. This coffee maker has a reservoir for the water unlike so may others where you have to put in a cup of water every time you brew a cup. If you like pod coffee rather than K-cups, which we do, and are serious about your cup of coffee, then you would do well to get this coffee maker. It may be a little expensive for some, but if you are a serious coffee drinker it is all worth it.
Summary: I've had 3 of these at our firm now and am about to buy a 4th. They make great coffee while they last, I get about 2.5 years before they finally fail beyond being worth to repair (IMO). I do consider this to be a true commercial grade product in that ours gets used probably 60 times a day 5 days a week and lasts as long as it does, but not without problems. There are leaks around the pod holder, clean, fiddle, clean Okay.
Summary: I have been using it daily for last 4 years and did not have single problem with it. I brew my own coffee with it. I buy beans and it takes me 2 minutes to make fresh coffee from it. Grinding, brewing and ready to drink. I buy regular coffee filters for drip coffee machines and just put ground coffee in it, wrap it tightly and cut the exceeds of filter, put newly made pod into machine and make coffee. 100% success rate.
Summary: Ive had for a bout 2 years now and only used about 3 times. The reason for it is very leaky to the point I cant use. Ive cleaned it, made sure I made the pod correctly but still manges to leak. Now the thing just collects dust in the cabinet. Very disappointed, I should have listened to the other reviews.
Summary: yes these are expensive and work great. They endure moderate use.I would not consider them commercial grade as I am now replacing my 2nd one as the water control valve suddenly decided to fail after about 2 years. yes I have had the same issues as others have refered to-such as pump priming problems. Hopefully this next one has some of the reliability matters addressed.
