Summary: The model purchased was a refurbished unit, so I can only speak for the one unit. The coffee maker vibrated terribly and made a loud grinding noise when in operation. The noise, projected at 6:00 A.M., on a work day, would have been intolerable. I was fortunate in being able to return the unit, the following day. The coffee maker was purchased through Ebay, and have to think the strength of Ebay forced their hand in allowing me to return at all.
Summary: Over a year ago my husband and I started looking at the Breville 600xl Coffee Maker. We loved the idea of being able to use K-Cups AND our drip coffee brand. We bought one this year for our Christmas Present! Not only did we get a great deal on the price, we ARE SO PLEASED with the ease of operating the machine. Clean-up is virtually non-existent! Upkeep means refilling the water tank every 3 days or so! And now we can sample the many different K-Cups on the market.
Summary: The product makes a lot of rattling noise. The whole body vibrates and every part vibrates making a terrible noise when heating up the water and after it dispenses and prepares to heat up the water, it makes the same noise all over again. To prevent it from vibrating, I have to push and hold it down. The water is not hot enough to give a good brew. It looks nice but it is not a good product.
Summary: I love this coffee maker! It is my second Keurig coffee maker, this one is faster, looks better, I highly recommend it. I use filtered water so I did not purchase a water filter for this machine and it works great. The filters seem to cause problems with other consumers. Don't hesitate to purchase this one!
Summary: This stainless steel look accents your kitchen. The coffee maker is fast and convenient, but that convenience comes with a price! The best price I could find for the K-cup coffee average 40 cents per serving. It come with an adapter to use your own coffee but that defeats the whole idea behind having this type of machine.
