Summary: I got this machine new and never got to use it. It was a gift, all it does is make noise and vibrates my cup underneath that's about it. The water doesn't at all move, it pumps 4 times then stops. None of the buttons respond, nothing happens, what a drag. I have been doing research on this machine and am finding it impossible to fix this problem since I can't return it since the person who got it for me doesn't have the receipt for it anymore.
Summary: I love this machine! I sold a few items on eBay then bought myself this beautiful piece of coffee heaven. Since I have received it I haven't used my regular drip coffee maker. Fine tune your grind to the enclosed filter and you are set to go! The instructions are easy to follow and you will be an expert barista before you know it!!
Summary: I have had this Espresso Machine for 4 years now... and we are STILL going strong. I drink espressos 1-2x a day, 4-5 days a week. If you have a perfectly roasted and ground espresso bean, Breville does the rest of the work. You can set your consistency on single and double shots. The machine lets you know when it is making espresso through a gauge on the front. Pulls a great shot with amazing creme. If you want to pull hot water or steam, its got settings for both.
Summary: Love it, every morning during the weekdays and every morning during the weekend I I make my espresso for my guess and I and save tons of money because I no longer go to Starbucks for my Tall nonfat latte!
Summary: This machine replaces a similarly priced Italian machine (Gaggia) that died for the second time in three years. Fixing it would have cost as much as a new machine. The Breville is on the whole a better machine. Likes: --Big water reservoir, easy to fill. It removes entirely from the front and can also be refilled from the back at a pull-out panel. --Reliable brew strength and good crema, as long as the coffee is the right grind and well-tamped.
