Stopped working properly after 13 months

John Zanini, Amazon
  • Summary: Mine also stopped working properly in month 13. I love the unit, but it no longer will read the correct amount of water I out into it. I wanted to see if it could be fixed, but when I emailed Breville, they only seemed to want to know if it was under warranty. I told them up front it was not.

Lasts little over a year and ka-put

J LeRoy, Amazon
21 May 2015
  • Summary: I've had three of these so far, babied the last two. All just stopped after 13 or 14 months. No wonder they provide a 12 month warranty. Some of their competitors better made products give a 3 year warranty, which is in line with something priced this high.

Worth the Money!

R. Barber, Amazon
3 March 2015
  • Summary: Third time a charm! I tried three different "grind and brew" coffee makers: Cuisinart DGB-900BC Grind & Brew Thermal 12-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker, Black and Decker CM5000R 12-Cup Mill and Brew Coffee Maker, and the Breville BDC600XL YouBrew Drip Coffee Maker.

Simply fantastic

C. Miller, Amazon
16 February 2015
  • Summary: So I rarely write reviews, however felt it necessary to share my absolute love of this coffee maker. We previously had the Capresso Team which lasted a good 6 years, a wonderful coffee maker untill it just stopped working several weeks ago.

This is the best maker that dose everything great

Bob, Amazon
5 January 2015
  • Summary: This is the best maker that dose everything great. At first I thought the mild strength was to strong and used ground beans but after a break in period of a few pots it is now my go to maker and I even increase the whole bean grind strength. I just hope it last for years as it is great.

Life changing... (ok, maybe that's a slight exaggeration)

candez, Amazon
16 December 2014
  • Summary: I absolutely, positively love this coffee maker. I agonized for months over spending this much money to replace an appliance that cost $45. What really drew me to this machine were the integrated bean grinder, the ability to brew a single cup without having to use K-cups, and the customization...

BEST grind and brew coffee maker out there and well worth EVERY penny!

Alexx LeVasseur "The Flag Chick", Amazon
16 December 2014
  • Summary: I have used another major brand of grind and brew coffee maker for a few years.....or I should say I've used several of them from this maker, as the grinder is forever tearing up on it. I went thru 4 under warranty. I finally decided to try this Breville version of grind and brew back in 2012.

Best coffee maker ever. Period.

Chris Meelia, Amazon
12 December 2014
  • Summary: Best coffee maker ever. Ground single serving variable boldness. Awesome. If you love coffee, you will love this coffee maker. Only drawback is its noisy when grinding. Probably unavoidable but I wish it were quieter. Well worth it for a premium cup of coffee.

this coffee maker makes my penis feel larger!

discorabbit, Ebay
15 November 2014
  • Summary: Great coffee maker. Not as loud as I thought it would be from other reviews, about as loud as a blender. My only complain is it barely fits the 20oz contingo travel mugs. The opening in the bottom could be larger to fix this.

Great Coffee

Daniel Thompson, Amazon
11 November 2014
  • Summary: I have been using the Breville YouBrew for almost a year now, and I am satisfied. I get a flavorful and hot mug of coffee every time, and I love the adjustability of the strength, flavor, etc. Some have posted comments here about running the grinder empty and using pre-ground coffee instead.
