Summary: The taste of this thing is Good and I don't even Drink coffee! I was hesitant to buy this at first simply because there are more things for Kurieg rather than Tassimo ever since they lost Starbucks as their major vender but others have stepped up! And I must say I love the teas, coffees, mochas, lattes, hot chocolate is ok but not bad, love the Expressos!
A word of caution regarding ordering Tassimo T-disks onlne
26 October 2013
Summary: It's been about 6 months since my original post below. Still love my Tassimo, but some lessons learned regarding ordering T-disks online. The primary distributor of Tassimo t-disks, whom I am not allowed to openly name, has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau; 70+ formal complaints against it for extremely slow order processing (weeks, not days) coupled with exceptionally poor customer service. If you google "Tassimo t disks," it is the first hit.
Summary: I love this thing. I discovered this product at my work when I stumbled across it in the break room - I had to have one! Good quality and heavy duty! Small and compact, it fits on any counter top. The cleaning disc is interesting, but the unit comes with a step-by-step instruction guide. The quality of the coffee is amazing and the variety of the flavors and types of drinks is extensive.
Summary: This is more expensive than other Tassimo machines, but it has a digital instruction reader on the front of the machine. It reminds you to install disc, descale, and lets you know when coffee is done. I bought one, now buying for friends. I know it is easier to find pods for other brands, but this machine is far superior to the other machines. You can also froth.
Summary: This is my third Tassimo. Other than my first model, manufactured by Braun not Bosch, I have been very satisfied with the operation of these brewers. Braun apparently no longer makes Tassimo brewers. Braun brewers were notoriously loud when brewing and they vibrated alarmingly. The Bosch models are quiet and efficient.
