Summary: The only thing I dislike about the Tassimo is that it does not have a reusable cup. The T disk are reasonable to buy, but it would be nice if i ran out I could have a back up. I would buy this over a keurig even if there is a reusable k cup.
Summary: My wife has always wanted a one cupper for the house, especially since she often makes a pot of coffee in the morning and then half of it goes to waste. Now she only makes a pot if we're both around and knows that she can have a hot cup of her favorite StarBucks whenever she wants or needs one. Considering how much coffee we used to waste and how superior in taste this is to regular ground coffee, this has turned out to be a good match for us.
Summary: I got this machine as a gift six months ago and have one at my office that I have used for the past two years. The machine works fine and makes a good cup of espresso or coffee. The problem is the cost. The pods are not available in grocery stores and when you order online, you can only avoid shipping charges by ordering in large quantities. Also, Tassimo does not retain your account information unless you sign on for automatic shipments.
Summary: I love my Tassimo! I used to grind beans for a French press everyday, and although the first cup was wonderful, the last one really wasn't. I chose Tassimo because Starbuck's is available for it, unlike the Keurig, and have fallen in love. With the Starbuck's T-discs, Tassimo makes a delicious, hot, fresh cup of coffee (or latte, or cappuccino) every time.
Summary: I usually don't drink coffee at home. Too much hassle, too much waiting, too few choices. I love those coffee shops from Seattle, the variety, the friendly people who fix the coffee for me, the prompt satisfaction of the cravings. My wife, on the other hand, needs her coffee in the morning. And in the afternoon. And in between sometimes. She also drinks hot tea a lot. So she convinced me to buy a Tassimo. Quick, easy, with lots of varieties.
Summary: I bought my wife one of these machines for a convenience at work. It was a bit of a gamble because she is something of a coffee connoisseur. She really likes Starbucks though, and likes strong coffee, and this was the only machine that seemed to fit both of those criteria based upon reviews I had read.
Summary: My husband and I love our Tassimo! We have had it for a couple weeks now and it makes the perfect coffee, tea, latte, cappuccino, etc. every time. My son also loves it-it also makes hot chocolate. Well worth every penny and we would recommend it in a heartbeat!
Summary: I love the coffee and quick lattes but the customer service is slow. I have had my Tassimo for less than a week and I am dissapointed with their customer service. I sent an email Sunday night asking for a list of which drinks have sucralose or other non-calorie sweeteners in them. The only thing I recieved was the automated we have your email reply and will be back to you as soon as possible.
Summary: This machine is just what we were looking for. There is virtually no daily maintenance....just keeping the water tank filled. We were looking for a machine that we could make a single cup of coffee without making more than we needed. This machine makes excellent coffee and we can make only 1 cup at a time with no wasted coffee/beverage. Finding the coffee discs is a bit problematic, since there are only a few stores that carry the T-discs.
