Summary: So far, I like it a lot. We have been using the glass version for 5 years and we have gone through 4 of them at about 25 dollars each. We are not particularly hard on things, but things happen. I finally decided to get a more durable one.
Excerpt: I've had this product for close to six years now and it's still working just as it did the day I got it, minus some wear on the rubber inner plug. This type of insulated model also comes in useful if you forget about your brew, because it will keep it hot, if not pretty warm, for 4-5 hours after...
Excerpt: We had a glass French press before this one, and found that the grinds always wound up in the coffee. This Bodum 3-cup French press has a much tighter seal that keeps most grinds under the mesh filter. The double-walled stainless steel carafe keeps coffee hot for at least an hour.
Summary: Great looking press! Stainless steel so it won't break like my glass one did. Insulated, keeps liquid hot for a longer time. I had a Bodum glass press which I really liked, but the fragile glass broke very easily. It too was insulated, but this stainless steel one is better at keeping things hot.
Summary: I bought this because it was the biggest I could find. By far the BEST!! coffee pot I have ever had. Absolutely no complaints. The only coffee pot I will ever use again. My Mom is going to buy one after seeing mine. Well worth the price! My highest compliments-- from a coffee lover!!
Summary: Bought this after going thru countless Bodum glass presses( glass broke). Highly recommended by my sister in law - and we love it. It presses well, keeps coffee warm and is easy to clean. Well worth the price!
Great French Press! We will never worry about it breaking.

Summary: We love fresh roasted beans and French brewed coffee. This seemed to be the best product for the cost. I have had glass French presses. Glass presses do not keep the coffee hot and break easily. We treated the plastic ring with a vinegar solution and have had no residual after taste.
Great looking and larger capacity than avg coffee press

Summary: We prefer coffee from a press and the one we had was smaller capacity and wasn't enough for our morning fix. We bought this 12 cup Bodum press and it is great. I love the design. We moved away from glass presses years ago because we kept breaking them.
