Summary: With so many choices on products these days, I found myself swayed by a manufacturer I know and trust. Aside from looks (of course,) an important factor in any cafetiere is the wire mesh. If the holes are too big, grains of coffee slip through, too small and the plunger takes more effort than sucking a frozen milkshake through a straw. This coffee maker gets it just right. Personally, I like more chrome, but there is just the band securing the handle on this model.
Summary: Bought this for my daughter who is at Edinburgh Uni and rowing for her life in the rowing club, she needs the coffee for the caffeine boost, but also wants to chill and the health benefits of loose leaf green tea form the Real Foods shop just around the corner from her - this sexy little jug doubles up for both functions for her. Very nice wee item. Paid the extra £5 for the Bodum model over the inhouse version as it looked much nicer..
Summary: This small coffee maker is ideal for your own cup in the morning but not sure you'll get 3, maybe I like it really strong? Neat, easy to clean, mesh works very well and smooth plunge action. And it was on sale, good value.
