Black & Decker DCM18 Brew 'N Go Coffeemaker
David W., Newegg

Cons: Item arrived opened and damaged. A hinge on the top was broken and the filter/supply system was damaged. Completely unusable from arrival. The open box leads me to believe someone returned some broken item and then it was sent to me.
Cons: The cup is awkward and top-heavy. The outside liner is halfway glued to the inside portion, so water leaks in between the insulation and the cup. There's no way to keep the grounds from touching and sticking to the drip spouts on the lid, which means you have to thoroughly wash the *entire thing* between cups. This can only be alleviated if you use coffee pods (like the kind you get in a hotel room single-cup setup), but if I wanted to buy special coffee, I'd just use...
Pros: Really nice large cup of coffee maker. Coffee is ready in about 2 min. Once you figure out the right strength you like ( 3 coffee scoops makes a good strong cup) the rest is routine. The travel mug is good too if you like to make coffee and get in the car. I also have some larger cups that I can use instead of the travel mug. Just check out your different size cups for ones that will do the job. I purchased one for my sister and another for my vacation house after get...
Pros: FAST makes a very quick cup of coffee. The travel mug that comes with it is large enough to pour into 2 smaller cups for sharing a quick coffee. Very easy to load and clean. Auto shut off when done- I love this.
Cons: Coffee flavor not as goos as coffee made in a slower coffee drip pot. We grind fresh coffee every time we make some so know good fresh coffee. It seems that this fas drip maker just cannot quit make the good taste of a slower coffer maker. We are still experimenting with changing grinds from finer to coarser to see if we can change this problem.
Pros: I've used one of these brewers daily...for years. It takes a #1 paper filter, it cleans up easily and makes an appropriately hot 12-ounce cup of java in under 3-minutes. I typically use a pre-warmed ceramic mug, but the included mug is great. It's not a travel mug, but it does have a sip-through lid that helps keep the coffee hot. This is a simple, efficient, single-cup brewer that hasn't failed me yet. I very recently bought a new one here at Newegg, simply because I...
