Summary: Makes great coffee but be careful with the carafe, it is very fragile. A replacement is more than a whole new coffee maker, we found out the hard way so now we have a spare coffee maker in the basement, sans carafe.
Summary: My old B&D programmable coffee make finally died. We loved it so thought we would get the same thing again. Unfortunately the display area on the new one is different and does not light up (it is a "digital display"). It is very hard to read because of glare and no light.

Summary: This unit makes good coffee. It is simple, convenient to use, and does what it says it will do. Pros: Brews enough coffee for me and my wife to each have two large cups. Keeps the coffee warm for two hours after it is made. The "sneak a cup" feature while still brewiing works perfectly.
