Summary: Superb quality product. Feels pleasing heavy and makes a great cup of coffee! A couple of things to watch for though. First, make sure the base and the pot are correctly aligned before you screw them together. Do this gently and slowly.
Stylish but coffee lacks taste of other brewing methods

Summary: I really want to like this coffee maker, but despite its elegant looks and reasonable build quality the bottom line is that the coffee just doesnt taste as good as when I use a simple drip filter.
Summary: Makes a lovely coffee. The stainless steel construction is better than the aluminium - the taste is better and it hasn't tarnished. It feels solid. The lid's handle - a thumb press-thing - doesn't quite lever open as I would expect but hey ho, it looks good and it's manageable.
Summary: We had a classic version for many years but needed a new one to work with an induction hob. In 4 months we’ve had 2 of these. The seal failed in the first one and the handle on the lid fell off on the second. It only gets used about once a day so the quality is terrible.
Summary: It is OK. Coffee often leaks from the join of the 2 halves when pouring or when brewing, no matter which way I put the filter in. It does not screw together as smoothly as the last one I bought, not sure if the thread is as good.
As good as you can get for under several hundred £'s

Summary: This is my second one; the first just stopped working after a couple of years, and I couldn't find ain't he one at a reasonable price that suited. This one has also recently started acting up: it makes a horrible noise when the coffee starts coming up, but that can be controlled by reducing the...
Summary: Supplied rubber seal in unit too small, filter keeps dropping out when trying to assemble, fortunately also bought the spare rubber seals, which are fine. This was a replacement for similar item which has given years of good service, only replaced due loose handle, I'm sure this too will give years...
Summary: It just didn't work.....I thought-hoped-this would be a stainless steel version of the classic Bialetti stove top coffee pot. It was useless; the knob fell off before using it, and the water simply didn't move. The search continues for a non aluminium pot.
