Summary: Fresh filter coffee, but just enough for me. Rather than having to fire up the 6 cup maker we've got and end up either wasting coffee, or having to peel myself off the ceiling in a caffeine induced craze, I can now have my standard triple espresso and not waste anything. Build quality is just as good as you'd expect from a Bialetti and the blue hasn't faded at all after a couple of months of almost daily use.
Summary: Excellent quality and looks great. Having used coffee plungers before I prefer the taste and strength of coffee I get from this stove top model, and the fact that it pours out nice and hot. When it says it makes 3 cups, each cup is about 50ml of coffee, which you can then top up with boiling water if you don' like it so strong.
Summary: The pleasing blue color softens what would otherwise be a rather functional aluminum pot so top marks for style and the fact the pot does not discolor due to the heat (yet). The quality and finish compared to others I have seen is also better as you might expect for the price and looks robust and will hopefully last for years. Where needed the finish is machined nicely so it sits well e.g. the base.
Summary: Would think twice about purchasing this, after a few months of use started to corrode/ go weird on the inside so much that its now unusable (despite cleaning it in the proper way, no washing up liquid etc.
