  • Excerpt: Have owned a smaller oster coffee grinder for over ten years and it operates fine. The cuisinart model CUI DCG-12BC provided a larger grinding basket, but the motor burned out after about 10 uses. This is a piece of junk and nobody should consider purchasing this product.

Grinds coffee well.

  • Summary: Oh yes, it is noisy, but all of these grinders are. It's higher-pitched than the grinders you'll find in supermarkets but otherwise about the same amount of noise.
