Ranjan Chari "Ranjan Chari", Amazon

Summary: I love this product. Its compact, has a rich sound, plays CDs beautifully, FM radio sounds great and the product appears to be nicely made. I am very satisfied with the clarity this unit offers. The price is quite reasonable.
Summary: Excellent all in one ipod radio. Having the remote that also controls my IPod Touch & IPhone is TERRIFIC! I plan on purchasing at least 1 more in white (currently not sold by Amazon)for my dining room. GREAT UPS shipping Packaging - box was surrounded by two layers of bubble wrap on ALL FOUR SIDES! ****Update**** It also works perfectly with my new IPhone 3GS!
Summary: This table radio has good sound and is very easy to use. It looks nice sitting on the counter in our kitchen. Lot of presets for radio stations. It also plays cd's and had a docking station for MP3/ipod players. It is very nice to have the remote so I can have it in an out of the spot that was wasted space. I would recommend this product.
Summary: I love being able to tuck this stereo under one arm, and move it from room to room. Lighter and smaller then a boombox, even my frail and elderly mother can manage it. I have been a fan of Teac speakers for years, but never liked all the wires and space required for stereos. This little beauty has such sweet sound quality for its size, that I cannot bring myself to call it a "clock radio" at all.
Summary: My wife and I purchased this product in June for our nursery. Our son was due in early September so we would have plenty of time to get familiar with it. The product came and worked fine...twice. We set it up, played a cd and all was good. Several weeks later we decided to listen to it again and it didn't work. No power, no nothing. It was over thirty days, so the online dealer would not accept a return or replacement. Terrible!
Summary: Great product! Saves space. Sounds good. High quality. All the features you need and none that you don't. Also a great value for the money. One thing that will surprise you is the bass and all out definition of sound that comes from this small appliance.
Summary: I am happy with all the functions of this unit except that when you put it in standby mode, which it has to be in for the alarm to work, the clock display goes dark. There is no way to see the time if you wake in the night. I called TEAC to ask if there was a way around this and the tech said "No we had so many complaints about the display being too bright that we disabled it completely". Nice way to improve a product.
Summary: In the market for a table radio, I looked closely at models from Bose and Cambridge. Product reviews of those units led me to look at the Teac SR-L250iB. I'm glad I did. I was prepared to pay 3x the price I paid but I took a chance based on the previous recommendations - and they were accurate! The unit is attractive, rugged and compact, the sound quality is excellent and there are more features than other models I reviewed.
Summary: The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the alarm won't work unless the unit is OFF (which also kills the lighted display). However, I figured out a work-around: set the "timer OFF" BEFORE the "timer ON" time to ensure that the unit will be off after you listen to whatever you listen to when you go to sleep. Yes, there's a TIMER function, but then you can't see the time (at night in the dark) if the unit is OFF!
