Summary: I replaced my older Sony CD player alarm clock with bluetooth because I like to wake up to music. First I am totally wowed by the audio quality for a small device like it. It makes even some lower quality sounding stations sound wonderful. It can be used for phone calls but I don't really use it for that so cannot rate that feature. Dual alarm settings and fairly customizable as well to days of week they should run.
Summary: I've had this radio for a couple of weeks. Excellent function all around (logical setup, automatically sets time based on time zone, battery memory for power outage, alarm schedules can be set for weekdays vs weekends, easy to view time and adjustable brightness level). Has the ability to connect devices like smart phones and media players, but I don't use those.
Probably the best alarm clock you can buy if you're looking to use with an Android phone.

Summary: Here are some things to consider before buying: 1) Connection to the phone is made via blue tooth. 2) The NFC tag is basically pointless. 3) Connecting via the USB is fine if you want to play music through the speakers instead of pairing via Blue Tooth. Don't plan on charging your phone through it though; it takes too long. So, why do I like this clock? The display is easy to read and has four settings: off, low, med, high.
Summary: I went searching for a new radio. I had a couple must haves: 1) 7-5-2 Weekday/Weekend alarm setting 2) Radio 3) USB Charger (did not want a dock, since phones can change) 4) Not a crazy bright display 5) Optional but nice, Bluetooth 1) The radio lets you set the alarm to go off 7 days a week, 5 weekdays, or 2 weekend. You cannot select custom days however. Not an issue for me. 2) FM and AM radio. Wire antenna for the FM and loop antenna for AM.
Summary: Did a lot of research online for a replacement alarm clock. Has a wish list of features: * Alarm OFF button that was easy to find (never use snooze) * Ability to turn off display * Ability to set 2 alarms * Ability to set alarms for weekday/weekend only * USB port for charging devices * Bluetooth for easy music playback from phone This unit met all my needs.
It's a SONY! I have always had excellent service from every SONY product I have purchased.

Summary: I used a similar SONY Clock radio that has a dock connector to listen to audiobooks on my iPhone. I purchase this to replace because I desired bluetooth connectivity that avoided direct wires and also allowed phone usage as a speaker phone. I know it is on the expensive side, but it is worth the extra price to me. I recommend purchasing this Bluetooth Clock Radio.
Summary: This is by far the best clock radio in the market. I purchased this clock radio because it is one of the few left in the market that has built in AM. The reason for the AM Radio is so that when it rains in my neighborhood during football season and satellite signal goes outm I can still catch the Miami Dolphins radio broadcast to not miss the action. The size is perfect for a nightstand.
Summary: We love that this little radio has so much to offer. We don't "blast" the speakers so the speakers Sony offers are just fine for us and our needs. We use these speakers in our kitchen, living room, and bathroom. If we were wanting something loud enough to service the whole house at once then we would go with Bose but this radio was a perfect for the price.
Summary: This is a full feature clock radio with Bluetooth. The audio quality is reasonably good both on radio and through Bluetooth. (I am using ipad 3 and iphone 5.) The unit will also play and charge non-Bluetooth devices. I stop short of 5 stars for two reasons: 1, FM antenna is a long wire and AM antenna is an external loop. I do not favor wires hanging from equipment and would prefer to see a telescoping FM antenna and a built in AM antenna. 2.
Bluetooth Functionality is A Little Flawed But NFC Saves The Day

Summary: Before bed I either read my Kindle or listen to podcasts/audio books from my phone. I've had a Bluetooth speaker living next to my alarm clock for a long time and finally decided to look for a good alarm clock that also serves as a Bluetooth speaker. Set up was very easy and I had my Galaxy S3 paired in seconds via normal Bluetooth pairing. Just press the Bluetooth logo button to switch to Bluetooth and off my streaming audio goes. Perfect, right? Not quite.
