Summary: Pros: Digital tuning works well. 3-setting backlight on LCD display is OK. The mid-level setting works good at night and OK during the day. I could not find a better digital-tuning clock radio at this price. Cons: Don't be deceived by the claim of not having to set the time.
Summary: I wasn't sure when I bought these two radios about the quality, but it fulfills my needs nicely! I actually bought two to be on opposite sides of a bed, replacing a Sharper Image "Nakamichi knock-off" which sucked. Audio quality is acceptable, definitely not tinny.
Summary: I bought this clock for my son and he loved it. Now I bought one for my daughter. They love the preset buttons and the fact that they can plug their ipod and DSi (with SD card) into the radio. I like the sleep function.
Summary: My iHome had stopped working correctly so I needed a new clock radio. I decided I would rather wake to music, news and weather, so I wanted to buy a simple clock radio, not an iPod player. This was quite a challenge. Almost every player now has and iPod or iPhone docking base.
Summary: We finally found a alarm clock that we like. The sound is good, the reception is pretty good (you have to move the cord around sometimes). The dim light is not too bright for us. I love it because it is digital tuning. The on and off alarm buttons are very handy.
Summary: Though there are three settings for brightness, the size of the face of this clock still creates a distracting brightness even on the lowest setting. When not in use, the speaker also makes a slight static noise, which is masked when the radio is in operation.
Summary: My list, in brief: Pros: - Two alarm times have separate, dedicated displays below the main clock display. Each display has a dedicated on/off button right below it. If you can see the alarm time displayed in its little window, you know for sure the alarm is set. No time shown? No alarm.
Summary: This is one of the better clock radios I have owned. I like the dual alarms, the digital tuning, and the automatic daylight savings feature works great. The display on the high setting lights up the whole room but the medium setting works fine for us.
Summary: Granted - I'm still bitter about the untimely death of my Bose Wave Radio. And I knew that any other clock radio couldn't possibly duplicate that lush sound for a lot less money.... my usual routine was to lay in bed and listen to the news/weather, and a few songs, then get up.
