No AM internal antenna!

Abe, B&H Photo
17 March 2015
  • Excerpt: "Built-in AM/FM radio with digital tuner and 10-station presets allows you to listen to local programming" The radio's does NOT comw with a built-in AM antenna making it a chore to listen to. Why can't SONY sell radio like they used to with built in antennas?

"Premium" Clock Radio: Uneven features

J.S., B&H Photo
8 March 2015
  • Excerpt: I think a clock radio should be pretty intuitive; even to the point of not having to read directions to operate. They are used by sleepy people! The ICF-CIPJ has a great set of features that I LOVE: the excellent clear projection (incl. alarm set), good radio tuner, AM/FM/Nature sounds, fairly good sound (for a clock), ramp up wake, digital tuning, and the feeling of quality.
  • Pros: Good Volume, Great Features
  • Cons: Difficult To Set

Pretty good value for money

Elmos, B&H Photo
19 January 2015
  • Excerpt: Easy to use, easy to set-up, looks good, works perfectly, the projection is pretty cool and it looks good! The sound is OK but I wouldn't mind if the whole thing was slightly bigger to accommodate for a better speaker. The only real con about it is that it doesn't accept international power, and since I bought it in the US but I'm using it in Europe, I have to use an AC converter. Most appliances these days can accept 110-220V automatically. Not this one. Just 110V.

Great for natural sound maker

Yaakov, B&H Photo
10 December 2014
  • Excerpt: Great as a bedroom clock, I like the projector feature it shines the time on the wall. But my favorite part is the natural sound maker that puts me to sleep and then shuts of with the built in timer.
  • Pros: Compact, Easy To Set Up, Good Sound

Conformation Beep

BladeRunner, B&H Photo
4 September 2014
  • Excerpt: Love this clock. The projection is awesome. My only complaint, is that there is an annoying and loud confirmation beep at the end of setting an alarm. This wakes up my wife when I come to bed and set my alarm. Otherwise, 5 stars.
  • Pros: Projection Size
  • Cons: Confirmation Beep

A contemporary alarm clock with radio

CK, B&H Photo
3 July 2014
  • Excerpt: The size of the alarm clock is just what is needed for a night table. Features are great, I even use the projector (I initially thought it was just a gimmick). The sound is not the greatest, but for the size and function it is quite decent. But this aspect is easily offset by the great design/display, and overall quality of the alarm clock.
  • Pros: Accurate Controls, Clear Signal, Compact, Easy To Set Up
  • Cons: Sound Is Not The Greatest
