Summary: The Sanjean Wifi 1 took me 90 minutes to set up. The manual's translation uses poor English in some phrases. Biggest negative is that every time I lose the Internet (usually once a week) I have to spend 60 to 90 minutes reprogramming the unit.
Summary: Bought another one on AMAZON for a gift. For the size of the radio the sound quality is tremendous. I am a fan of old-time radio programs. The internet is the only place to have access to several very good stations carrying old-time radio programs. The choices of musical genre seems limitless.
Summary: When it works the sound is top grade. But the display is so small and dim that it is very difficult to read at any distance. No Bluetooth and very old USB connection makes it a useless for anything other than internet radio. FM tuning is extremely slow and bothersome. Good sound, but dated design.
Summary: THIS SANGEAN IS WELL BUILT, SOUNDS VERY GOOD, LOOKS RETRO COOL AND WORKS AS IT SHOULD PICKING UP ALL THE STATIONS YOU WOULD EVER WANT. FIRST GO TO FRONTIER SILICON AND REVIEW ALL THE RADIO STATIONS FROM AROUND THE WORLD AND THEN SELECT YOUR FAVORITES.
Summary: Maybe I Got the wrong radio? Looks like the WFR-1 much nicer looking in real life then the picture portrays. Ok got the radio plugged it in up and running in six minutes went right to the BBC that's not what I would listen to but what the heck, the sound is amazing very clear lots of bass.
Superior Internet Radio, Inferior FM, Controls & Remote

Summary: The WFR-1 is a good internet radio. I upgraded to the WFR-1 from a Grace Mondo. Compared with the Mondo, the WFR-1 sounds better and works better as an internet radio. It was way faster to set up on my WiFi network.
Summary: I have three Grace, one logitech, and one vtech internet radios. The Sangean is the best. It was easy to set up, the remote has a memory for 10 stations just by pressing one of the 10 buttons.
Summary: I live at the edge of broadcast coverage areas, so a wifi internet radio is necessary for clear reception. In addition, there are stations across the country and around the world which provide more listening opportunities. Much, much easier than shortwave.
