Summary: The clock face is great and once set up the automatic time function keeps time perfectly and adjusts for Daylight Savings. Unfortunately, there are also a few major flaws. Everything is controlled by a panel of flush mount buttons on the top of the radio. Alarm set/disarm, snooze, radio and everything else must pretty much be seen to be controlled accurately. You can't see the buttons in a dark room and as they are flush mount, you can't distinguish them easily by feel.
Summary: This this the 3 rd Sangean radio I own (2nd w/ sync to NIST). Use this one in an office setting. Great reception in a metal building that leaves my cell phone at one bar. Love this radio. Highly recommended.
Summary: I'm very pleased with this clock radio. Thanks to previous commenters, I was prepared for the badly-written manual and did manage to set things up fairly easily. Believe it or not, the thing that took me the longest to figure out was where the On/Off button was! It is very faintly marked and is referred to in the diagram as the "Standby" button, but in the instructions as the "On/Off" button.
Summary: I bought the clock in September and loved the clock! I had no problem setting it up, as I mainly referred to the reviews on here. I was able to program the column and set the light to the perfect setting, which was 1. But the face on my clock is now stuck at 6:45. Everything else works on the clock except for the face. This is the whole reason I bought the clock! Tomorrow, I hope to call their customer service number and see if I can get this fixed.
Summary: The atomic clock works great, the radio is very good and the fact that it has a regular clock dial instead of a digital readout is a major plus. The are two issues with the radio: setting and enabling the alarm clock function is not very intuitive - takes time to wrap you head around the setup process, wish the clock had a battery backup so that the clock would continue to receive and correct the time and the alarm would go off at the right time even during a power...
Summary: After a year this is a great clock radio, except for some design flaws. 1. Progaming alarms and turning them off and on is an over complicated task. 2. Major bar on top of the clock is not for the snooze button but the clock light. You tend to blind yourself coming out of a deep sleep. 3. The snooze button is a tiny button on the left. By the time you find it, you no longer can snooze. Please fix these design problems and you have the perfect clock radio.
Best clock alarm on the market (for the money) hands down!!

Summary: The best Sangean alarm clock that I have owned. I read the previous reviews that mentioned that it is hard to program. The instruction manual is really well written and easy to follow (I am assuming this may be a recent upgrade -- judging from past reviews). It is true that programming this clock is not intuitive like many others -- you will have to read the instructions.
Summary: Hubris. It will get you every time. I read the reviews here for this diabolical clock, but I thought that surely those who claimed they were unable to program the clock were simply stupid. I’m not stupid; I’m really smart. So I ordered the clock in spite of all the negative reviews, blithely assuming that with my Much Larger and Superior Brain I would program the little sucker in a snap. Like I said, hubris. Sheer, dangerous hubris.
