Summary: I received the clock today and, boy, it is a disappointment. The clock radio is made of the thinnest, no weight plastic I have ever encountered in a small electrical item. The tuner automatically searches for only the most clear stations it can find and does not allow the user to search.

Summary: The clock seems well built, easy to read and doesn't shine too brightly in a dark room. However, there is one big flaw with this clock, it's alarm is very loud and doesn't seem to be affected by the volume controls, and isn't nice to wake up to.
The alarm BEEP is much better and not terribly harsh

Summary: quite probably the most DIFFICULT alarm clock I've ever owned to try and program. The buttons are multi-function and the instructions are unclear to say the least. You can't just 'shut off' the alarm if you don't want it to wake you up the next day, you have to un-program the whole thing to shut it...

Summary: I like the clock but the display has two brightness settings: bright as the noon-day sun - and really bright! As this is, I assume, meant to be used in a bedroom, it would be preferable if the light were dimmer.
Summary: I was initially concerned that the blue LED's would be too bright to sleep with. Who knew ... unlike sunlight, the blue does not pass through the eyelids at all! So when you close your eyes, even when facing right at the clock radio, it will not disturb you at all, while still providing a nice glow...
