Summary: the good things 1)Looks: i thought this clock is going to be small but it big and looks great. 2)Dimming function:.. most clocks I saw don't have a dimming function you have to pres button to view the time 3)dual battery and power use so you can keep the clock any where you want. 4)the projection is good quality easy to setup don't need to set it up separately, just watch out the buttons are hidden around the projection and might not look like buttons that includes a a...
Summary: Great all-around alarm clock! I wish it came in a different color though. Also, the reception is hard to deal with sometimes. Other than those minor flaws, it works great and couldn't be happier!
Summary: I bought this model because I wanted the projection feature and I wanted the clock to have a small footprint on my nightstand. The projection feature is very versatile -- you can adjust to many angles and directions. The radio tuning is good, and the sound quality is great for a clock this size. And I just think it's cool looking.
Summary: I searched for such a long time, because I needed an alarm clock that had the following: 1. Easy snooze button, so i can practically keep my eyes closed and snooze 2 or 3 times before being forced to finally rise and shine. 2. Good projection in a room that is not completely dark (my neighbor has outside lights left on all night and my blinds are not 100% room darkening. 3. Had to also have pretty decent sound since I awaken to the radio.
Summary: I purchased this clock for it's projection abilities and have never owned a projection before. So I would consider the review I give this clock as a "First impression" review for those who also have never owned one and are considering in buying a projection clock. -Great backlit display. Everything on the readout is PERFECTLY ledgible. Display is constantly lit up, unless you are running on battery only, or are on the 3 minute back up power.
Summary: I had the Oregon Scientific RM313PNA for years, and really wasn't very happy with it. The projector on it finally died, so I bought this Philips clock -- which I am much happier with. I've owned 3 projector clocks now, and this one easily has the best projector adjustability. As other reviewers mentioned, the projected time does go at an angle from the clock -- but there's a button that lets you rotate the image to make it level from just about any perspective.
Summary: Works great. Readily adjustable as to orientation and rotation of projected image. I tried using the wall(s) and eventually settled on projecting the time directly above the bed. Easily visible in the dark without being so bright as to bother the wife. I can glimpse the time with only one eye halfway open! :) The only caution I have is true of many multi-feature clock radios - there are a lot of buttons and options that don't get used very much - if ever.
Very stylish looking 2 alarm clock, minimal button clutter
19 November 2009
Summary: This is a very stylish clock and relatively small so that it fits easily on a small bedside table. This clock would look especially good in a contemporary style interior design. The numbers are easy to read and the orange backlight can be easily set to three different intensities with a simple press of a big button. All the important frequently used buttons are easy to get to, the less used buttons are off to the side of the clock, so there is minimal button clutter.
