Summary: The blue screen was so bright it lit up my bedroom, and the numbers weren't visible in all that brightness. Dimming the blue also dimmed the numbers: still not visible. Completely useless, and it kept me awake.
Summary: We bought two of these - one for each of my son's rooms. They have been a huge disappointment. The sound is very poor (thin and tinny). I wasn't expecting a lot for the money, but wish we had gone with a different product. If we could return them, we would, but we waited too long. I have also found that the controls do not always work properly. The only thing this really has going for it, is that it does charge the i-touch.
Summary: I thought these speakers would stand up to volume enough to wake me up, or for music playing in general. I play my music at reasonable levels. There is extreme distortion. I am sorry I settled for these.
Summary: I have owned this clock radio since December 2011. I loved the fact that you could dim the clock out completely. I also loved the gradual wake up to music. Here are a few things that I wish I had noticed before I bought it: If you notice, the way the Ipod sits in the cradle is the way it does on almost all alarm clock/docking stations.
Summary: I would have rated this higher, but the numbers are really hard to read. The dimming feature doesn't do much, the light is pretty bright at it's lowest point. Other than that the radio works great and my 3rd gen Nano works well with this radio.
Summary: I really needed a reliable, decent alarm dock for my ipod, and after reading the reviews I was skeptical about this purchase, however, I'm so glad I bought it! Especially for the price! Some of the things mentioned in earlier reviews (like not being able to adjust alarm volume and such), must have been fixed or they didn't know how to adjust it, cause that's one of the features I love. It's a great ipod alarm, only the directions could use more work.
Summary: I purchased this clock radio because I wanted to wake up to something other than an annoying beep or radio commercials. Unfortunately, the connection between the clock and the iPod is finicky...one little bump and the iPod will be disconnected, which means you wake up to -- nothing. Thank goodness for my cell phone alarm which I've been setting as a backup, or else I wouldn't wake up on time.
Summary: I bought this unit to put in the bathroom of my new place. At my old place I had an iHome in my bathroom, but I didn't have the space for that in this bathroom so I looked for something with a small size that I could just put on a small mounted shelf. My main problems with this are: - it is not very loud, when I am in the shower it can be hard to hear what people are saying when I listen to talk radio. - the FM reception isn't very good.
Summary: I was very excited about this alarm clock because it fits my iPod and it slowly fades in my music to wake me up instead of blaring it at full volume immediately. However, in the past few months, the alarm has failed to work on at least 5 occasions! I checked after waking up late on my own, and it was properly set. But it just didn't trigger! It works sometimes, and when it does, it's lovely. It's unacceptable for it to be less than 100% reliable, though.
