Summary: In the past 2 years I have purchased 4 of these, one for each of my kids. My older 2 got them two years ago for Christmas and the younger 2 this year for Christmas. It was a great value for not a ton of money. It's great for charging their ipods while listening to them.
Summary: This display clock is probably manufactured for hotel chains that need customers to wake up to pocket transistor radio music. The sound reminds me of games on 80s computers which had one very small speaker. Otherwise it is o.k.
Summary: product is easy to use, set, etc. Large display makes it easy to read. Only downside to this like most other ihome/ipod docking stations is that you can't dock there with just any cover. The otter box which is a great protector is one that has to fully be removed before you can dock there.
Summary: I purchased this clock for my 16yr old at a boarding school and she tells me that the IPOD charger part of the clock will not work. She said at first if she jiggled it around it would work but now it won't at all. I big waist of money!
Summary: Bought this for my wife so she could wake up to the iPod. For about 4 months, it worked fine, but for the past month, the alarm doesn't go off reliably. Also, it *sounds* like a clock radio...
Summary: Even on the "dim" setting, the display is very bright. When the alarm is set and the power is on, there is a high-pitched buzzing. Two qualities I would have liked to have known before I purchased this item. Without the alarm on, the sound quality is good.
