Curtis KCR2610 7 in. Portable Television under counter
10 March 2009
Summary: I purchased this tv and when I first turned it on, picture looked good and clear. Sold it to friends thinking everything was fine and everytime they turn it on, the picture freezes up and goes white. Don't know what the problem is. Was not a very good purchase for me.
Summary: This unit could not be better for the price that I purchsed it for. It fits the need I wanted it for perfectly. The only drawback was not getting the remote with it, but I have not found it be necessary at all. The unit works very well in either the TV or the radio mode. Just a great great buy in my opinion.
Summary: For the price I paid, this is an acceptable unit. Radio reception is good for my local NPR station so it suits my needs but isn't really great. The picture on the TV is good but tuning from the cable doesn't get the channels lined up properly. Expect to spend a lot of time manually tuning.
Summary: Product was as described and works fine. I bought this as a second unit for my camper and the remote from my other under counter tv a GPX model works perfectly with this unit. The GPX cost $60 more and is exactly the same unit. The manual, remote and mounting template are a perfect match. The shipping charges are off the wall and should be lowered. It cost me half the price to ship a larger unit and was packed much better. But all in all I am happy.
Summary: First the Cons: Its not elegant, but a similar white plastic to most kitchen things. A little deeper than some cabinets but stand-offs allow overshoot and it looks ok, used a right angle F-Type adapter to connect CATV Autoscan puts channels in its own sequence, unrelated to actual channel this is kinda weird, but another review suggests can be compensated so this would be kind of an involved hassle not an issue for a limited channel distribution: SAT, DVD, Door-Cam,...
Good Price for this item, but too much time to set up.

Summary: I bought this item a few weeks ago. I liked it very much because it was neat, compact. The sound is powerful and very good. The picture clarity is very good as well after it is fine tuned. What I didn't like with one of them because I bought two of them, is that when you are using the automatic button to set the chanels it starts from ch 1 and then counts all other channels from there. e.g. ch 5 would be ch 1 and then it would set ch 6 as ch 2 then ch 7 as ch 3 etc.
Summary: Loved how easy it was for me to install it-but i am having a problem with the instructions -they are not written in English- LOL-i also cant figure out how to change the channels without surfing up or down -(i dont know how my partner will like that feature)and i did the channel presets but the numbers dont match up !
Summary: I bought 2 of these under counter 7in LCD TVs and was not impressed when they arrived. The cosmetic design of the item looks like something that would have been made by Fisher Price & sold at Toys R' US. It is made out of tough thick plastic & just does not possess the elegant look & design to have in you kitchen. In fact it resembles something you would see mounted in you children's room.
