At Last, a Radio for Audiophobes,

Barbara the Barbarian, Amazon
24 December 2011
  • Summary: . . . . by which I mean those who love music but hate all the gadgetry inherent to most audio systems. For decades, I have listened to my beloved classical radio station through a couple of different inherited stereo systems, each hooked to large speakers by wires trailing into the corners of my...

Great Product

M. Gebler, Amazon
8 November 2010
  • Summary: I must remind all of the complainers who down-grade this product because of "lack of buttons" and (high)price that Bose doesn't exactly make a secret of either of these facts. Do these people even read all available reviews and look at the picture that is printed EVERYWHERE, including the Sunday...

Great Sound

JA, Amazon
2 November 2010
  • Summary: I have the Wave music System, and it is GREAT! It can play my music loudly and quietly as I like it, and has a VERY refined sound, definitely the best I've heard from just two speakers. Although it is quite pricey, I would highly recommend this.

UPDATE: Very polished, stands the test of time and usage well

Jaffrey W. Ali, Amazon
1 March 2010
  • Summary: At $499 for the basic unit + iPod connect (bose has a promo on) the wave music is a good value. I was looking for an iPod speaker system with alarm clock feature. Interestingly, the only way to wake to iPod with the system is to install an alarm app on the iPod (touch) and to leave the wave radio on...

13 January 2010
  • Summary: this radio/alarm clock/cd player works really good. (for 500 dollars it better) my pops bought it for his home stereo system but i guess he saw it didnt put out as much sound as he thought so he brought it in the basement and put this 500 dollar radio in the drawer where it probably would have...

Yes, it's pricey BUT...

Fred, Amazon
24 September 2009
  • Summary: After being impressed hearing the Bose Wave (radio+CD) at friends over the years, in March 2006 I broke down and bought one. I have not been disappointed. In September 2009, I bought my second. They have replaced all the other sound electronics in my house. That said, here's my take...

The Boss Never Sounded so Good!!!

Texas Minimalist, Amazon
12 February 2008
  • Summary: I've been a Springsteen fan for many years, but I'm also a bare bones minimalist who hates parting with my hard earned money. So I've always listened to my music on cheap, generic type boom boxes.

Excellent

Amazon Customer, Amazon
3 January 2008
  • Summary: I purchased this unit directly from Bose, and I must say I am glad I did. The little bit of space it takes is a must have in my small apartment, but yet it sounds better than the larger aiwa stereo I replaced with it.

Incredible Sound

GBW, Amazon
20 December 2007
  • Summary: The CD sound is like being at the concert. Hooking the radio up to a television makes the home theater experience even better. The fm radio receiption is even clear. Great quality product. Worth the money.
