Summary: Was so happy to get a BOSE...then within a year the CD player reads unplayable and spits all CDs out. Unplug and it works hit and miss. Now doesn't work ever. Bose says send it back for $100 processing fee and they will DIAGNOSE it. WHAT???
Summary: Like it says above... I've had this thing for less than a month and a half, have taken care to use it exactly as specified, but the problems with playing CDs mentioned in reviews below (not just CD-Rs, but full-fledged CDs) started not long after getting it out of the box, and by this point it won't...
Summary: Don't buy it. I am still making monthly payments on this $500 unit and after 9 months the CD player broke so that now I see "READING DISC" and then "NOT PLAYABLE" or "DISC NOT PLAYABLE" or something to that effect.
Summary: I enjoyed my old Bose Radio /CD Player for five years and decided to "upgrade" to the better sound quality of the Wave System. I purchased a Wave Music System and CD Changer. Another reviewer said the CD player in these units is Dollar-store quality. That's being generous.
I still can't figure out what I spent my money on...

Summary: I've had this abomination for about a month now, and not a day goes by that I don't dread purchasing it. The highly-touted "sound" of this radio is no different from almost any 100-dollar off-the-shelf model.
Summary: What a disappointment. In the mornings, I like to listen to talk radio on AM. With this product, forget about it!!! The AM reception is a joke (seriously). The Bose techs give you a couple of ideas..
Summary: PRODUCT UPDATE #4: Received my "new" Wave System from Bose on 12/27/13. As of today (3/5/14) this is the FOURTH one being returned because of problems playing CDs. Customer Service rep informed me that the unit I was sent back in December was NOT A NEW ONE BUT A REFURBISHED UNIT!!!
Summary: I was so excited to get this new model but terribly disappointed when it arrived. I think that the sound on the old model was as good or better. And the lack of manual controls was a total deal breaker. All the comments about fumbling around for the remote or buying a second remote are true.
Summary: For $250-299 you can get the Sony LBT-ZT4: a shelf system that plays both CDs and DVDs; has a multi-disk CD changer; has a USB port as well as an IPOD dock; has the controls on the unit as well as on the remote; has a graphic equalizer; and has a more full, powerful bass response; all features the...
Summary: For years I've heard so much about how wonderful the Bose Wave Radio is. I finally broke down and bought one, and man, what a disappointment. The sound is crystal clear, true- but it's also tinny and not rich at all. Candidly, the radio on my $40 clock radio sounds better.
