Summary: This is one of the cheapest smart phones around and being rather more mature than many users I decided to try the cheapest and see how I got on.I have been amazed at what this phone can do,although it has taken me a couple of weeks to get used to it and I have run it in parrallel with my old phone during that time which has helped me greatly.I think its brilliant value for money and frankly I am delighted with its abilities.Yes you can get more and posher phones, and pay...
Summary: Bought this for my 11 year old son who wanted a Smart phone. (Also got the purple one for myself). Son was instantly happy using it and has downloaded numerous free Apps. WARNING: The phone comes set so that it connects to the mobile internet once a day - costing £1 each time on a basic tariff with no data allowance. We didn't realise this till after a week when after having no luck finding any info about how to change the settings took it to a Vodafone shop.
Summary: I bought this for myself after drowning my old phone and wanting to upgrade to a Smart phone, without spending a huge amount of money, and keeping my existing Vodafone SIM. I found this easy to use to set up although the touch screen does take some getting used to. It helped a lot when I realised the keyboard was wider when the phone was turned on it's side (I am over 35 so these things don't come naturally!!).
Summary: I bought this phone from Argos rather than Amazon, so can't comment on delivery etc but will review the phone itself. I bought this phone as a replacement when my last (much more advanced Sony Ericsson) phone broke. I needed a quick cheap solution and the 858 lent itself to that. In my opinion it's the best replacement you could possibly ask for. The smartphone functions all work; the WiFi, 3G etc and all the Apps.
